Hi! I'm a first time poster, but long time reader! I've had my NOa1 since the middle of January, just waiting for the NOa2; and I've had a slight problem bubble up. My fiance was laid off her job, and she's looking for a new one; my question is what do I do about the already submitted petition? The information is now already outdated!

My fiance, the beneficiary, changed jobs between the NOA1 and NOA2. It was a non-issue. USCIS knows that jobs, addresses, phone numbers, etc can change.

If your fiance is the petitioner, then the only thing you need to worry about is being able to show 125% of the poverty line when it comes time for the interview. If she finds a new job, no problem. If not, you'll probably need to have a joint sponsor.

April 27, 2016: I-751 mailed

May 2: I-751 received

May ??? NOA1

May 12: Check cashed

May 31: Biometrics appointment scheduled

June 1: Biometrics appointment letter arrives!

June 2: Biometrics walk-in

Thank you for the quick reply! :) So I don't have to express mail them a notification about the change then? I'm the petitioner so I shouldn't have to worry about needing a join sponsor.
