Anyone knows where VJ timeline gets the estimate for the adjucation? Just curious on how they estimate when you simply input your NOA1 date. Sorry not so familiar with it.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum :)

VJ calculates estimated NOA2 date based on other VJ users timelines who already been through it. The estimated time is also different for each Service Center, CSC is very fast (~1 month) and TSC is slow as hell (~6 month).

Good luck on your visa journey!

I got NOA1 on May 30: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 23, 2014 and July 1, 2014*. I'm SO very excited!! :goofy:

this might be a silly question but what's the meaning of ARN being changed?

It means your Alien Registration Number has been changed.

Well even i don't know what that means but i have recieved my NOA2 and NVC case number already.

Well literally it means Alien= The beneficiary

But do not worry it will not make an effect on your process.

I hope someone here or other topic might provide an accurate information if you want to know what it technically means. But the good news is on a different note it also means your case file has been touched by someone and it is moving forward

Yes

We got it 2 days ago. We tried calling at NVC but the phone is always busy. On the 3rd day of trying whole day finally got through. They said a case number had been issued and we noted in the phone.

After that they said it required processing but yesterday i checked status through NVC and the status said my case has been forwarded to the consulate of my embassy.

Hopefully 4-5 days for my packet 3 to arrive.

You will need to call NVC in about 10 days from now. But don't worry if you won't call as well the NVC case number will be sent to you by some means.

Congrats my friend

Thanks Ppll909! We were approved the same day that you (May 14th) I hope hear something from NVC in the next days=)

Please keep us to date about your case =)

Saludos!

We sent out our k1 petition May 22nd...haven't heard from USCIS yet.it's making us jiffy.

Is it true that TSC is processing k1 visa then?

Depends on where in the US the petitioner lives.

I-129F petitions currently are processed by the California Service Center (CSC) and the Texas Service Center (TSC).

California Service Center processes I-129f petitions for petitioners residing in: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Texas Service Center processes I-129f petitions for petitioners residing in: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.

http://www.visaearth.com/k1_faq.html

CSC is very fast and TSC is slow as hell. But anyway, on the NOA1 the Service Center where your case will be processed will be clearly stated.

NOA1 includes a file number also which begins with 3 letters and has several numbers after them:

WAC = CSC

SRC = TSC

Good luck! :thumbs:

Thanks Miss Diamond for the info. I hope we will get our NOA2 soon. :)

On VJ Timeline I had an estimated time between 30 May and 8 June. I got my NOA 2 on 29 May, so it was kinda precise.

Thanks Alics! Wish we could be the same as yours, only 2 sweet weeks! Congrats again!

My partner was sent an email, as my attorney! I was expecting to be waiting at least another month before I got an interview. I cant believe it was so quick! Its perfect timing though. We are planning on leaving early September so this gives us time to prepare!

Good luck to you! I hope you get an email soon!!
