NOA2 Hardcopy Received.

The hardcopy states that the case has been forwarded to the consulate where as the online communication states it has been sent to NVC/DOS. Did anybody receive NOA2 with the language that "case has been forwarded to consulate" ? Is it the standard text ?

Thank you for your help.

Same here, sent on May 12 and no NOA1 (email or hard copy) until now. I was sad for the first few weeks so fiance emailed them but no reply even at this very moment. Decided to call the hotline. They gave us a receipt number and they explained that just have delays in sending it because of many applications. 2 weeks has passed since we called and still no notification. Only relying to the receipt number they gave us and latest status is ARN was changed on May 21. I hope they gave us the correct receipt number though or I will be soo sad again. Call them is the best solution. :)

Yay congrats! Glad to hear things are moving along so quickly for you :)

Did you just count 10 business days after your NOA2 and call? Or did you try calling before then? I'm at this stage of the game (NOA2 on 10 June) so I'm a little anxious to find out the timeline for these next steps.

We just called NVC and got our case number. So excited ♥

I wouldn't necessarily count on 10 days. Ours took 3.5 weeks (we got it yesterday and NOA2 was 05/19) and there are others on VisaJourney who've had to wait 5-6 weeks. I initially freaked out when 2 weeks passed with no case # but after reviewing posts by others who's case #s took a while, I decided not to be overly concerned until 6 weeks elapsed.

9/05/2014 - Married

09/12/2014 - AOS filed

09/16/2014 - NOA1 received

09/29/2014 - Biometrics (walk-in) (appointment was 10/10/2014)
