Every immigrant has its own visa and brown envelope, but principal immigrant must make POE first.

Thanks EAA... This is news to me! So between myself, my wife and 4 kids we will receive 6 independent visa envelopes after the one and same consular interview?

Silly and random question: if in the list of documents in the IL photograph is marked Y (The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate) - it means i don't have to bring it, right? I used my stock of remaining 5x5 photos for the medical.

When I went to my interview in London they brought out my file from NVC which had the earlier pictures that I submitted to them. The officer asked me how long ago I had taken those pics and I said a few months back. He was happy with this and didn't ask me for another set of pictures, however I did take 3 pictures with me just incase.

Now this may be different for each country however I would advise you to take it, last thing you would want if for them to delay your visa for something that would take you 5 minutes to obtain.

Did you receive the interview email or did you find out by calling? Many of us here have been waiting for an interview at Mumbai for a week now.

Please call them on Monday. I have a feeling they will have some good news for you on Monday. After NVC schedules the interview the email is being sent out the same day. If your interview is scheduled on Monday you should also receive the IL the same day.

I'm gonna do the same thing.

Although I hope that jatin gets it first.

Our PD difference is about 4+ months.

Thanks, but I'm routing for all of us. It sounds like maybe the first round of scheduling they try to use a combination of CC then PD, or just CC. And then maybe for second round they might do PD then CC. It's such a jacked up process. I think if they really are doing a full round of scheduling this week then we will all get something. And personally if it's not early June then I'm fine with July. Good luck to all of us.

I hope they have just the words I want to hear, but it's all good, they will start scheduling July in 2 weeks anyways. The one good thing this whole process has done is made me somewhat more patient now.

Its made me borderline batsh***** insane !

But you're right if an answer doeent happen this week - it will on June 1st for sure

I hope they have just the words I want to hear, but it's all good, they will start scheduling July in 2 weeks anyways. The one good thing this whole process has done is made me somewhat more patient now.

Hello again . Good morning ! Sorry for bothering you again and again . My mom case has been completed at NVC and they said they are currently waiting for interview scheduling with Rangoon . So can you tell me how long it usually take to get interview appointment ? I am planing to come down and accompany to my mom at interview . Can I do like that? If I can come along with my mom interview , what kind of paper work should I do with you to do in advance ? Thank you very much

Once we receive the case from NVC, we will contact your mother to give her additional instructions on how to schedule a medical examination, as well as a few additional forms to complete. We will also advise her of any missing documents that will be necessary to process her case. Once we have received all the required documents and medical exam results from the clinic, we will schedule your mother for an interview. If all the documentation is complete, it usually takes a couple weeks from the time we give the instructions to the interview date, but may take longer if there are any missing forms or issues with the medical exam. It is not necessary for you to accompany your mother to the interview. Generally we do not allow any individuals except for visa applicants into the waiting room. Don't worry, our consular officers speak Burmese, and we have Burmese staff available to translate if your mother has trouble understanding. The interview lasts only a few minutes, and if approved, the visa will be ready the next business day in the afternoon. Thanks, Consular Section

transferred from NBC to TSC on nov 18, 2013.

waiting waiting and hoping NO RFE.......

finally i 130 journey is approved ...

02/26/2014 nvc received my approved i130 from uscis

04/01/2014 case number and invoiced assigned

04/02/2014 AOS fee paid

04/04/2014 iv fee invoiced. not able to pay yet

04/06/2014 iv fee ok to pay, still in process

04/04/2014 AOS package sent via usps express mail. but weekends hummmmm

04/08/2014 officer lady from NVC said that my AOS packages are received .

04/09/2014 DS 260 completed. make some name mistake. hope it will not delay my case.

04/21/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they received my IV package today. .

Any clues which date range I should expect???

You'll get an email on the 8th day from today.

Your interview scheduling (IL) will be a separate email.

No hard copy.

Expect that on July 1st.

And by what time will NVC inform me about the date. I haven't yet received an official E-Mail of Case Completion. Only telephonically I got to know.
