Don't even get me started. UGHHHHH

so my husband feels bad. Last night he said he should have gotten a certified copy at the same time he got the Marriage certificate. Who knew the Original would be such a problem. People are starting to ask me at work why isn't my husband here yet.... Its starting to annoy me. I am so happy I am married but I am afraid to mention it because it requires so many explanations... I'm sad today..( more than usualy) :crying::cry:

Story of my life...

Every single day of my life I am asked the following questions, "So when is your husband coming? What do you mean you don't know when he is coming? When will you find out then?" I bought a home about 5 months ago so that I could renovate and everything would be ready for him when he arrived so now they follow up with , "So when will the house be ready? When will you move in?" and I don't have an answer to any of those because I am not moving in WITHOUT HIM but I still don't know WHEN HE IS COMING!!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

And then they have the nerve to say, "You seem so upset and irritated." Oh really? I wonder why... :bonk:

Sorry....I just had to rant...

How cute...

I remember while driving my husband back to his apartment way back when we were only dating for about 3 months.. he just looked at me and said ... "I'm gonna marry you one day" his english was very broken but it was so cute. I will never forget that especially since I was so surprised he said it in english . My stupid response was " oh really?" what an idiot !!! LOL but here we are trying so hard to be together.

It's these wonderful memories that keep us pushing on. It's the fuel to our fire. And someday (hopefully sooner than later) it will all come together and be sooooooo worth it. And all this pain, misery and frustration will just be a distant memory. In a few years maybe we will even laugh about it!

Once you get Case Complete and Interview date they will ship your packet to the Embassy.

You can track it with DHL.................Wow it weights 6.7 pounds

DHLship.png

Oh this is kind of cool... So they just emailed you the tracking number so you could look it up?

Crazy that all those papers come from their original countries to America and back to those countries back into our hands. There has to be a better way to this process. No wonder so many things get lost along the way.

That is such #######. I was able to sign right in and pay very soon after. The only thing I can think of is that they changed something in the system ( the reason for the computer issues lately) and now there is a wait after the case number is issued. I know here at my job, when they roll out an update to the system, it screws up the normal process of things. And I work for a GLOBAL chemical company. You would think they would have IT guys ready to deal with the issues. I do feel like it is intentional though. One of the operators told me that people send in their paperwork all the time without the barcode coversheet just trying to get ahead. But all it does is slow things down... so maybe they changed it so you can't even sign in right away... WHO KNOWS.? just my take on things.

this whole process is irritating

Yes I know how you feel.. that's why I don't speak about my relationship with anyone.. Just close family members and a few friends because than they start asking dumb question and also start asking " How do you know he's faithful.. you are over here he's over there.. what if he just wants papers"... UGH that really gets on my nerves..

Sorry! We had the same issue. Our Ds261 didn't become available until the third, but we didn't even get the invoice until this morning! (We e-mailed them and called to see what was going on!!). We were getting pretty annoyed, especially when we have everything ready to send.. Not sure if we should send it right away, hasn't cleared the bank but we have the bar-code sheet.. don't know if I should risk it or not.. Spoke to Gus last night, he said he was" told" to say 10-20 business days.. invoiced today. Hope it comes available for you soon!

You will always have people who will question your relationship.. Joke is on them really! Me and my wife had both of our families treated us really badly. They got over it quite quickly before we got married.. you do get the occasional people who ask if you married for papers.. at the end of the day it just shows how those people think your life is so interesting to even think about it at all.

Yes!!! I know the feeling !! People say I'm being used for a green card. One person in my circle calls him my mail order groom! Ugh!! That pi$$e$ me off!!!! If he just wanted a green card he wouldn't have waited 8 1/2 yrs! Don't worry...... He who laughs last, laughs best! :)

He who laughs last laughs best .. Ha!!! love it.. Lol ..

Thanks for that

Yes I know how you feel.. that's why I don't speak about my relationship with anyone.. Just close family members and a few friends because than they start asking dumb question and also start asking " How do you know he's faithful.. you are over here he's over there.. what if he just wants papers"... UGH that really gets on my nerves..

I get that too... " you know how men are...." " how do you know he is being faithful?" you're over here and he is way down there...

Yea... Not many people know about our process .. just my mom, my 3 kids, my job and a select few. I never mention it on facebook because that would be 400 people sending questions. I'm just not in the mood. and I only told my job because I might have to travel at the drop of a hat.
