When did you submit the DS-261? As that's what leads to IV invoicing.

If you hit the multiquote button for each post you'll want to end up responding to, a tally accumulates at the bottom of your screen saying something like 'Respond to 5 quotes' in a little blue box (at least blue on my screen). When you're ready to reply, hit that button and all the quotes appear in a reply box similar to replying to only one.

Type your responses in between each quote and that's it :idea::goofy:

that is so strange.... it only took 2 days for mine each time.

I know this is probably not the best thing to say but if it is of any comfort, flight tickets for september are some of the cheapest of the whole year for most parts of the world where as Jun-August are the highest. So I guess even if you don't get a July interview and instead get an August one, then maybe you'd want to wait till september to fly and instead spend the extra 800 on a little vacation when your loved one arrives.

Just call Monday and keep chin up! It's too early to say they are lost versus maybe it reached some guy's desk who took a few days off or something of the sort

Oh trust me, I know that September is the cheapest. But I'm a school teacher and can't fly anywhere unless it's in the summer or a week during Spring Break. So that's not an option. My point is that I want to go meet him as soon as I can instead of waiting around here until his interview. I don't work in the summer. So I don't want to be here without him.

my wife is DHLing me another copy... i'll "politely" mention that i've already sent the original in the checklist. this operator did tell me they rejected my original marriage certificate because they didn't think it was an original :wacko:

I swear they are delaying the invoices to control he workload.... you know what the VA did to make their numbers look good..... well, the NVC is probably delaying the invoices to make their numbers look good and to keep up with the workload. If they get behind it makes them look bad.

I can only stay about 10 days when his interview is scheduled. Then back to the grind to file the waiver and wait another 6-8 months. I am not sure if I will be able to afford another flight in between. . My house needs a few repairs and they aren't minor ones. The roof is leaking and I need to find someone to patch it who won't charge my first born child and I really need a new heater.. I don't even want to think about that cost. and there are a few other things. It sure would be nice to have him here to help me rather than hiring someone or sitting here and hoping it doesn't get worse til he gets here. :cry:

I'll make you a promise and I mean it, if I win the lotto I'll send you what you need and you can fly to see your husband every month for two weeks until he gets home. I wish I could visit my husband also but it's impossible, I'm hoping God willing if they give him the Visa to go back for a week or two then come back with him. Not sure if this will ever happen but one can dream.

I agree it would be so much better if he was here to help you out, I need help myself can't do it all it's just to much. I know your pain and I just wish I could wipe it away. God bless and keep you and your loved ones safe and that you always have enough. :)(F)(L)(F)

I agree, it seems to be taking longer for those invoices, even for people to access the DS261. How frustrating for everyone!

Calgary's housing market is amazing right now! More buyers than there are houses for sale. Many can sell the first day, and I had 20 showings all on only the first day, over 60 in total, multiple offers:)
