The AOS Fee and IV Fee are not the same, but the DS-261 is relate to IV Fee Invoicing. Once you completed the DS-261, the IV Fee will be invoiced within 30 Business days from the day its completed. On our case, I online submitted it on May 8, three weeks now but still NOT INVOICED. Losing my hope and frustrated. 10.5 months wait on USCIS for approval and now 2 months already at NVC still waiting for what someone else just got in almost 10 days since DS-261 has been completed.

I know that they are not the same :) . The AOS was available to be paid no we did n the DS-261 also was available and completed on May 12th . But the stupid IV is not available to be paid :( .

Hey don't lose hope I know exactly how you feel... We started our journey on May 14th of last year .... But I tell myself this will have a happy ending for all of us Inshalla. Best of luck :)

don't freak out. You already paid and you can prove it. Just call and verify that they received the payment. The format is new and things are all screwed up. I am sure it will take a few months to get it rolled out completely.

thanks! I hope they are rolling it out quickly geez these people are going to make me have a stroke! lol....guess I'll try and get through tonight :)

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!

Current Status: NVC:
-Assigned and Received NVC Case Number, IIN, and BIN April 18, 2014. (100% sure case # was assigned today because I called twice and it wasn't assigned in the morning when they opened but in the afternoon it was)
*Could not provide email then as case was still being updated in their system
-On April 21, 2014 I was able to provide my email and beneficiary's.
-On April 28 I was able to fill out DS-261
-On April 29 I received and paid AOS Fee (at 1pm)
-On May 1 I received and paid IV Fee (at 1pm [became available]), also AOS Fee shows as PAID
-On May 5 IV Fee shows as PAID and DS-260 became available and was completed. Also, AOS Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 7 IV Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 28 AOS Accepted

-On June 2 IV Accepted/Case Complete

-On June 11 Interview Email Received

-On July 3 Interview at Moscow

Note: Medical Exam scheduled after interview letter received by calling the specific clinic, earliest appointment was 2 weeks ahead)

-Visa approved, came to us, got greencard, sadly things didnt go well and divorced. Last I hears she was still in the US and got a full greencard (I notified USCIS of divorce though)

I have no idea who I spoke to because she had an accent and it sounded like she was eating the phone. And she didn't answer any of my questions. Doesn't know what dates they are reviewing right now and she said "maybe next week" when I asked whether they were close to May 5th.

I also told her that the cover sheet for the checklist says "20 business days" and she said, "you have to allow 30..." For the second time.

She was no help and sounded like she hated her job. I don't know why I bother calling. What if they really did lose my package or something?? Now I'm worried. Without a CC, no interview. Without a interview, I can't buy plane tickets and prices were $1800 last night!!!

I know this is probably not the best thing to say but if it is of any comfort, flight tickets for september are some of the cheapest of the whole year for most parts of the world where as Jun-August are the highest. So I guess even if you don't get a July interview and instead get an August one, then maybe you'd want to wait till september to fly and instead spend the extra 800 on a little vacation when your loved one arrives.

Just call Monday and keep chin up! It's too early to say they are lost versus maybe it reached some guy's desk who took a few days off or something of the sort

We have a July 16 Interview Date in Warsaw. We sincerely hope and pray for lots of case completes tonight.

Congrats and good luck!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Hello everyone . So my hubby paid the AOS and sent the package like two weeks ago but the IV is not available yet to be paid... I've been checking for two weeks now is it normal?

When did you submit the DS-261? As that's what leads to IV invoicing.

How do you answer two people at once??' I've been on here since February and I still don't know how to do it. Plus I can never get emojis on my iPad and it's not a mobile version. #annoying

Oh I've got you covered girl. Totally stuffed my face.

If you hit the multiquote button for each post you'll want to end up responding to, a tally accumulates at the bottom of your screen saying something like 'Respond to 5 quotes' in a little blue box (at least blue on my screen). When you're ready to reply, hit that button and all the quotes appear in a reply box similar to replying to only one.

Type your responses in between each quote and that's it :goofy:

"If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."

"Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."

If you have IRS transcripts, you need no other tax documents for prior years.

If you do NOT have an IRS transcript for a particular year, you must submit a copy of the tax return (all pages), W-2s (or the equivalent proving your wage-like income), and 1099s (proving interest income from deposit accounts).

If you submitted 2011, 2012, 2013 IRS transcripts, plus your Employer letter and payment stubs verifying your current (2014) income, you are fine.
