On phone on hold with NVC right now. Tomorrow will be one month since my case was complete and still no interview for Santo Domingo. Hopefully I get some good news now.

wow one month thats a long wAIT wonder if ill have to wait that long once i get my case complete, hope you get something soon, let me know when you do. i wonder if they're scheduling for july.

I received a very encrypted text message from my husband. All it said was, "Email?" And I'm like "Pinterest?" Then my two brain cells decide it's a good idea to check my email... And there it was! Interview scheduled today (May 29, about 1-2 hours ago) for July 18!!!

We're FaceTiming just now crying, yelling!!! So happy!!!

Side note- It's weird, I've been collecting/organizing docs for a long time... But now that's real, I feel so unprepared! Good thing there's still a month and a half!

Side note again- This date is awesome: outside of the dreaded World Cup and in time to enjoy a family vacation early in July! (A special one because my brother has been going through cancer treatment - started around the beginning of our NVC process - and will have a break for that! And now I can join!!!!)

Hi everyone! Since our CC I had to take a breather from the NVC and VisaJourneys to recoup but I just wanted to let you all know I'm still checking back here for all of you still waiting for a Case Complete. It IS coming and there is light beyond this. <3<3<3 LoveMyTico and LifeOnHold you guys are next!!

Finally, Interview scheduled for 09-Jul.

A little later than what I was wishing for, but I'll take it!

I will work with the consulate in Casablanca once they get the case to try to move it to an earlier date, hopefully a late June date.

Who knows?

hi peeps its been a long time since i visited vj so i guess i missed alot of things .I have been trying to call NVC to get my case number cause its been more then a month now(no updates from NVC ) but their number always appears to be busy.I don't know what else to do :/

Just keep calling. It's busy more than at other times, but just keep hitting the redial button. It might take a few minutes to get into the phone que. But definetly call.

Hey Guys!! First off CONGRATS to all the approvals and interviews!!! To those who haven't gotten an approval or interview we gotta hang tight guys! So I was checking on my packet status and this came up: So I guess my question is I have already paid (and until today is showed paid) my AOS I'm not sure what to make of this can anyone elaborate on this for me?? I'm kind of freaking out right about now :huh:

I believe this means Case Complete if not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong people.

This is so frustrating! I just don't know why they didn't scan my documents in, like everyone else's has been. Look at everyone's timlines and it says AOS received, then AOS is scanned in. I feel like someone dropped the ball and now I have to wait another 30 days plus 20 days after I resend it.

Is there a way to request a supervisor review of my case?

Call back and ask to speak to a supervisor or manager. The NVC is not a free service, its something you pay for. The EP is supposed to save time. That's actually going to take longer than if you sent in the package. If he supervisor doesn't get it, then tell him you're going to contact the oversight congressional committee of Homeland Security which oversees the NVC and USCIS.

Soloenta, did you learn Arabic yet?

Are you kidding me it's one of the most difficult languages on EARTH! Two forms or saying things the formal and the second one so no I have not just a few words. salaam alaykum, walaikum Salam. Little stuff like that I wish I would smart enough to speak Arabic but I do speak two languages fluently and can understand at least three besides those two.

22 days now since we paid AOS. Just when are we going to egg this IV invoice. It is just prolonging an already impossibly stressful situation

We so want to get the children into school 1st September but unless NVC moves itself that isn't going to happen!!

Did you call NVC about the delay?

I see that your DS261 was completed on May 7th. IV fees should have been invoiced a long time ago
