Hi, I would send it with Fedex, since I'm sure that they are always reliable (and usually on time), and these are very important Docs.

However, I have no idea if the Irish postal service is reliable or not. Maybe someone else knows better and could give you a better advice. Have you ever sent mail to the US with the Irish postal service before?

I only know that Venezuelan postal service is a joke and there's no way I'll use it xD Fedex and DHL are my friends :lol:

Hey guys-- just got told I have case complete. However! They completed the case without my AoS checklisted information...

I was checklisted the first week of April on domicile for me, and the standard discrepancy on income for the tax transcript for my joint sponsor. I sent the document on April 10, it arrived April 12, and they noted its arrival in the system on April 17.

However, they did not open the package, I was told on the phone, and completed the case on May 1st. I was told that I was going to get a new checklist for this information on Monday, and that they would send the packages BACK to me, and that my wife has to bring it to the interview.

Has anyone heard of this before? It seems super weird.

I sent our initial i-130 with our postal service (registered, 3-7 business days) it arrived with no problems. I'm just wondering would me sending it with the quickest time make a difference on how soon we could get our stuff looked at? or will the wait times be the same?

Hmm I see.

Well, 3 business days maybe won't make much difference, but I think 7 will. Especially if you get a case complete near the interview scheduling time... A few days could make a difference between a July or August interview I believe.

Let's see what other members suggest :)

I would pay the extra money :) Maybe you can try to mail the AOS and IV package together to save on the shipment?

Thanks for the advice! I'll most likely go with fedex, I'll also look into UPS.

NVC still has not received my IV documents. This EP thing is sooooo slow, But the nice lady told me that they are NO LONGER sending out ENROLL confirmation/acceptance emails. I'm not sure how true this is or not, but if it is true then it will sure speed up the process of those ENROLLing now as they won't have to wait to get that acceptance email, they can just email there packets in as soon as there fees show paid. Hopefully this will make it quicker for people in the future, for now though, it's slower than snail mail

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Actually, they probably left at 3 since they start at 7am.

Another Friday night without my husband... (sigh) I have been in a bad mood all day because I am worried about this birth certificate fiasco. :protest:

My youngest daughter turned 14 today . We had cake and dinner before her dad picked her up. I was sending pictures as I took them to my husband on whatsapp. But its not the same.

I really can't wait for this to be over :cry:

I started my journey March 4 and was received at USCIS March 7, made a stupid mistake forgot to sign the I-130 they sent it back right away I sent it the same day I received it and then sent it back saying I didn't sign it again but I did. Long story short they put June 24th as being the day they received it and have been at USCIS since then until April 5Th when I was freed from that torment. The waiting here seems unending for some reason and It has been a year since I have seen my husband. I wonder how much longer I have to wait since Egypt is well another nightmare. :cry::crying::cry: I'm very sorry you have to go through this but know your not alone, we are there with you. :(

You're lucky ur iv fee shows paid already.. Mine still in process, paid on apr 24th but till now still in process. Called several times they said have to wait till next week coz they're having some priblung in the site.

As for the AOS they said they got mine on the 29th but didn't review yet..

How was your passport application? I hope ur getting it pretty soon..

Hi Mai, thank you. Yes I had an appointment with DFA last Wednesday and they said my passport will be available on the 15th or 16th of May. After that I'll apply for my NBI clearance and my IV packet will be good to go.

I want my Case Completed too while they wait for my revised AOS lol. This is interesting. I too wonder if this is common. Congrats by the way! Another step closer.

I got a checklist for my IV docs today, 2 days after receiving case complete. If you don't call, emails take forever to notify you of anything.

That's weird, were you expecting the Checklist and what is it for?

1/29/14 - NVC assigned case number

2/10/14 - DS-261 was filled out and AOS was paid

2/11/14 - AOS was mailed

3/10/14 - AOS Checklist for missing field (Didn't write N/A)

3/11/14 - AOS was resent

3/20/14 - IV fee was invoiced and paid

3/26/14 - DS-260 was filled out and the IV documents were mailed from India

3/27/14 - AOS was approved (Reply to the checklist)

4/1/14 - received a false checklist for IV documents

4/7/14 - IV Documents reached NVC

4/11/14 - IV Documents were touched by NVC

4/29/14 - Case Complete (Called on April 30)

4/30/14 - Checklist for IV docs (To obtain PCC - This is normal for Mumbai)

5/6/14 - CASE COMPLETE confirmation email received.

5/9/14 - Interview was scheduled for June 17 @ Mumbai Consulate

5/13/14 - Received IL letter (P4 Packet)

5/26/14 - Medical Appointment (Apollo/Ahmadabad)

6/16/14 - VAC Appointment

6/17/14 - Interview Date

6/17/14 - Approved

xx/xx/xx - Passport Received

xx/xx/xx - POE
