Yet another update from an EP filer:

As our timeline and post this morning indicate we received an eMail acknowledgement of our IV package this morning. In spite of this we received another false checklist this evening requesting our IV package. After contacting NVC it would appear that the checklist was generated yesterday at the time our AOS was approved.

Still waiting...

Hopefully this will be the last thread for me .. I'm cooking dinner so I'm using my phone. Its pouring buckets of rain in the Philly suburbs. Sweats and a warm bed and a phone call to the hubby.. then SURVIVOR.. MAYBE I'll make another call to NVC. Just for fun.

I just chuckled lol. Pouring rain in Jersey. Not sure where spring or any resemblance of Spring is at. Defintely doesn't help during this process. Warm weather always makes everything better :)

I went ahead and called NVC as I could not wait any longer. I spoke to nice guy Kevin and he cruelly put me on hold for a while only to come back and tell me.. CASE COMPLETE. What?! I'm in shock right now.

OK, MY UPDATE they must be working on mail that was scanned in on the 15th.

I got my checklist.. for income amount and I knew that was coming.... Luckily Its already there.. another couple days YAHOOOOOO

also IV documents that are already there too !!

DS 260 was accepted... without 10 years of employment !! ( thank the lord)

Spoke to MIGUEL He was laughing at me because I was so happy !!!! He said it sounds like I have this all under control.. I told him it took 11 months for th USCIS to approve my case.... I had nothing else to do but read and get ready !!

So, if the lawyer didn't make a dumbass mistake, I would have gotten a false checklist and one step closer... YAHOOOOOY

hey guys . we need your help .. my wife made 2500$ in 2011 and the same she did in 2012 but in 2013 she made 29000 $ .than she started a new job since june 2013 to till now she has made 34000$ .. so is it be enough for 4 family member ? and what year we should mention in affidavit 2013 or 2014 ? please any help will be highly appreciated .. thanks alot all fo you ..

I know... right??? Where is spring.??. and of course I missed summer in Costa Rica. Winter is starting and its nothing but Rain Rain Rain down there..... Hubby is making a delivery and told me to call after Survivor.... of course he did because I have something good to tell him... :bonk::whistle:

If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it!!

My birthday is June, 9th. I will turn 21.

I have just been looking at the NVC website and reading about stuff when I came across this:

  • Applicants whose 21st birthday is before the appointment date should immediately contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulatel where the interview will occur to request an earlier appointment. Failure to receive a visa before the applicant's 21st birthday may make the applicant ineligible for an immigrant visa at this time.

I have only started my NVC stage and haven't even sent anything yet, should I worry about this?

The Location of The VJ Adventure has been tentatively set for

Six Flags Great Adventure Located near Jackson, New Jersey

VJ member Kaylara is very familiar with the area and If anyone needs information

or details on Local Hotels or decent places to eat feel free to contact her.

She suggested that after the official summer season ends the prices go down

for most things dramatically. If you would like to be added to the list to be

notified when a date is set please send me a Personal Message.

For this to become a reality everyone's input is needed.

Please make any suggestions related to timing or venue to anyone

on the list that has indicated an interest in getting together.

Dates in Aug and Sept have been suggested.

This would give more people time to complete their journey.

I look forward to this coming together to celebrate our visa journey.
