I had a 30 minute conversation with a supervisor. This is total BS. Their system is showing mail received form the 8th ( which I sent) and from the 23rd ( which I did not send ) he said that if I get a CC this week, it is very doubtful that I will even get a July interview. They just don't work that fast. He said my file goes nowhere until all mail is reviewed. I told him that is total ####### because I didn't send anything after the 8th. SO if they complete the file I have to wait until some stupid mail THAT I DID NOT SEND is reviewed???? He offered to look at the birth cert again and he was explaining what they are allowed to accept and what I explained doesn't sound correct. He was explaining the certified copy to me. I explained that their instructions say ORIGINAL OR CERTIFIED COPY. He said he would rather not pull my file and look at it because quite possibly someone might be looking for it and he could delay it by pulling it out of the loop, So I told him to leave it alone. WHY THE HELL IS THERE MAIL IN MY FILE FROM THE 23RD??? The lawyer did not send anything because I told him I took care of the NVC part. NVC said they can tell if it is internal mail or not. The mail from the 12th and 16th were internal. This mail from the 23rd is external. He said received on the 21st and scanned on the 23rd... #######????? I'm disgusted :girlwerewolf2xn::girlwerewolf2xn:

DONE RANTING FOR THE TIME BEING :ranting:

That is so bizarre... I'm sorry about that. Did you specifically ask your lawyer if he sent something? I probably would ask, even if I instructed them otherwise... Ours didn't submit stuff we had agreed they'd submit; I can see the opposite being possible.

If you get CC this week, it is totally possible for you to get a July interview. Best of luck LoveMyTico. They are completely screwing with your file.

CASE COMPLEEEEEEEEETE!!!!!! Since May 22! My husband just texted me the news!

Notes: Last time he called, last Tuesday (5/20) they gave him the usual "it's going to take 30 days for review". On that same day, our Congress representative placed an inquiry about our case. I don't know if any of the calls made a difference, or was about time for case to be completed! But case complete!!!! No checklists!!! ((We're not off the hook just yet, 'cause I have a few complications that may thwart things at the interview, but for now, I'm celebrating!!!!!!!))

I am so thankful for the knowledge, wisdom, support, understanding, tears and laughs this group so selflessly share! Thank you all!!!!

Yay!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Received false checklist for IV package.. Does this mean anything?

I think it means your AOS has been accepted! Yahooooooooooo!

Please, those of you who are sending good luck around, can you send a little bit my way that my re-submission of the DS261 won't hold me up much longer and that I can pay IV fee and fill in my DS260 soon? :innocent::whistle::clock:

Done.

Just hang up the call and they said they have not reviewed my civics package (scanned on May 06) and allow them 30 business day

And the check list is because the system sent automatically. I always received the email from NVC around 1-2Pm (PST).

Hope I got the correct answer. I will call back tomorrow.

My IV docs scanned the same day as yours- and I got the same answer today too-

:-(

hang in there.... (we have to)

I just called NVC and talked to Lexi, she was very nice and helpful.

They got our I-130 file on 5/23 but of course they have no case number yet and said call in 30 days. Realistically, how long as it been taking for case numbers once they get the file? From what I gathered from reviewing several time lines about a week ago, it seemed that about 2 weeks was realistic. Would you say that is about right? Maybe a mid-June case number for me is a possibility?

Also, I finally got the check mark thing cleared up for I-864 tax stuff. If you send all 3 years of transcripts, check BOTH boxes (13 and 14 in section 6). I heard conflicting things on this forum so I wanted to confirm.

Also, she said if my 2013 tax return transcript form the IRS website is not available in time for when I send the AoS, I can send the proper return transcripts for 2011 and 2012 and send the 2013 return copies (1040 W2 etc) in place of the transcript. She said that I should write whatever amounts appear on the actual documents I send even though the return transcripts are auto-rounded and the amount I wrote on the 1040 still has cents on it. She said we are all technically supposed to round to the nearest dollar when we file our 1040s but I never have and so she said just write it as it shows on the paper or they will send a checklist.

Sorry for the long post but hopefully that is useful to someone at some point

It doesn't really make sense to check BOTH boxes, though. Box 13 says that by checking it you're saying that you included ONLY the most recent Tax Year. If you included all three, this is not true, right?

I am worried now because I only checked box 14. I included my 2011, 2012 Tax Transcript and my 2013 1040 and my Joint Sponsor included 2011, 2012, 2013 Tax Transcript.

Could we be checklisted for this?

Congrats on NOA2!

Unless things change drastically, it's been taking 20-some days to 30-some days for people to get their case number at NVC.... oh you mean just getting from the service center to the NVC. Well that varies, and maybe on average takes a couple weeks.

Probably you will get a case number about a month after your case arrived... so around June 11-15, considering that there's a weekend in there.

Is your timeline updated?
