I think you win the award for having the most supervisor reviews. I don't think I've ever seen someone with so many!

I asked for one on May 1st when they told me over the phone that they will not accept the Birth Cert. . Then I received my checklist on May 2nd. Then 2 more reminders for the checklist within 24 hours. Then another review on May 5th or 6th and then again on the 12th and then yesterday. I even spoke to a supervisor on May 2nd in the evening and he told me to call back on Wednesday the 7th and ask for him. He told me he would personally review my file... I don't understand why they are reviewing my file so much if the mail isn't even opened. But today they told me there is a request for the mail to be located and brought to the supervisor for review. SOOOO strange. too much drama for me. so nerve wracking

Thank you CanGirl you have been very supportive for us.

I called NVC (40 min on hold) and they dont know anything about EP as its a different department. So I think I have to wait now for the stepsons Enroll Confirmation also. I'm almost ready to email everything, But I have something I am still unsure of. I hope some one here can help with this as I have spent hours looking online, on VJ and the department of states wed site and I just get more confused.

On the I-864 It allows you to also name the children In my case I have the wife and stepson. He will be traveling with his mom so It looks like I have to list him there. He is 17 years old. But he has to have his own Visa. Reading the Department of State I-864 instructions he is included on My I-864 as part of the AOS package. I have thought that there is only one AOS package to send since they are both listed on the form. But maybe I need to send the same I-864 two times? On the department of states web site, Its a tricky thing to understand.

So I have two I-864's, one from me the petitioner and my dad the joint sponser. My income now is more than enough and my dads is also. My wife has alot of money and property in china so she could alone. So I listed her bank accounts and property on both my dads I-864 and mine also. Is this a mistake to list her assests on two I-864's?

I have been so worried about this.

I put "none" in all the Blanks, rechecked the income vs tax return amounts everything I read here that trips people.

But its still not clear to me maybe I need four I-864's. one from both my dad and me for each of them?

So I'm hoping to get an answer from someone that is or has done this with a wife and child. Just dont need anymore delays.

I know that the China EP is a bit different from Canada, in that they change your case number. So since you have 2 different cases you might need to wait for both of them to be accepted and case numbers changed. Remember to send your documents in separate emails for each case.

You should only list your wife's assets on your i-864, not on your dads. I'm also not sure if you will need a separate form for your stepson. It might be determined by his age. Have you looked at the i-864w for children?

I live close to Atwater Market next to Lachine Canal .......I used to live for over 20 years in Cote St Luc..... in another note Saylin I just got Enrollment confirmation :dancing: . I will send you a request. Thank you for all your help.

Don't think I've ever been in the Atwater Market area :P For most of my life, I lived north of Laval, right on the North Shore. Then, for 2ish years, I lived with an (ex) boyfriend in DDO (which was nice since there's a lot of English speakers there).

And woohoo!

Yes I am, you have to middle load in China so I am. There are stories about that certain interview window you go there to get a rejection. I think they make up their minds before the interview. Every time I hear JVers talk about Joy on the NVC phone it sounds like the lady they describe in China that hands out the rejection slips. So I want the consulate to feel at ease about our files.

Oh my!!

I will send the same evidence I sent with my I-130.

we sent 8 photos to uscis with our I-130 and they were sent back to my husband after we were approved with a letter saying they are returning our originals that was submitted for evidence in our case.

Hey Saylin I had my case complete and just updated my timeline. Question is do you manually move the cases or does completing the timeline move the case to the upper completed section of the spreadsheet? Just curious.

Danced a yard ere I danced abroad

Don't forget to take out Monday the 26th from your calculation. It's a federal holiday, so NVC will be closed.
