NVC Filers - May 2014

Asked the same Q few hours ago. Anybody?

I did a search in the top right and this is what I found out:

CMR = Consolidated Mail Room

DR = Document Review

I'm not sure if it is true or made up but that seems to be what everyone thinks.

Either way it is going to the same place, NVC and will find its way to the correct person.

I do know that CMR is for initial package and DR is for RFE/checklist items.

When everyone mention's this updated CEAC website, what link are they talking about? Because when I go to the Check Application Status hyperlink and input the case number all I get is a "At the NVC" popup box.

I've never sent the enroll email, but they had my email in their system. I guess they got it from USCIS package.

ENROLL is only for electronic processing. Which means for certain countries it is mandatory or optional to send documents through email to NVC.

It has nothing to do with them sending you information.

EDIT: OOPS I made a mistake, i meant to say through email.. corrected that above lol

Annual? They have enough to do weekly extra document bonfire parties. That must be why they're so slow to work on cases

I have the most wonderful news...CASE COMPLETE!!!

The wait had been long and tormenting but we like many have passed the test..

Luckily dint have any checklists but they did confirm june interviews are filled.

All of you are in our prayers and im waiting to see more good news.

I had been a silent watcher here but many of you helped me in the most needed times.Thanks to my VJ family.

Folks, a little request: I'm manually going through the spreadsheet's non case complete lines (sooo many). I'm up to February NOA2s so far. Anyways, I'm going through each person's timeline, profile, posts, signature, etc to find any updates. I'd really, really, really appreciate if everyone on the spreadsheet can go check their line and see if everything is right and up to date. If it's not, please fill out my form to update/fix it (preferred method). If you can't figure out how to fill out the form, then please PM me or write here. Trying to get the spreadsheet as up to date as possible, but it's hard when people don't provide those updates...

I got case number over phone so I will place it when I get the email. btw it's taking over 30 days to get case number she said 10-20 more days ugh so that will place it at 2 months about for case number this unreal

I sent my EROLL email on April 21st. Still no responce either. I hope you post when you get something because I'm 3 days behind you. I have called and asked for a supervisor but he told me they can not see anything on the EP process just that he knew it was taking a month. This was a week ago. I have read alot of people are having problems getting thru on the phones the last few days. Almost 15 months now for us with the USCIS and now Emails that take a month at the NVC. Emails that take a month? Two months both ways? It is hard to deal with.

Wow I finally got through by calling on my landline. Good thing my parents have free long distance lol

I talked to Rose and she said that yes emails are taking 30 days to be looked at and she had no record of my ENROLL email.

She told me to just start sending in my documents and I will be automatically be enrolled when they get to them. Sounds good I'm not about to argue with that.

Since they get 1000's of packages a day.. I wonder how many get reviewed daily? it takes them 2 days from delivery to scan. And do they separate the checklist mail from the initial mail? Maybe they have different departments reviewing different types of mail. OR maybe it goes into one big pool of documents and they just grab whatever they can hold and run back to their desks.... I guess it may depend on how fast each person works. I hate not knowing !!

Now all I picture is agents running to the bins and grabbing a handful of envelopes and running back to their desks, dropping marriage certificates and police records along the way... Not cool lol

here an update ;IV send 28mars,received a e-mail 17april confirming they received it and ask me for AOS docts so i send in AOS same day..so far since then got nothing just when i called last week the oper told me they have everything they need just waiting for a supervisor to check it..!!

PLZZ can you elighten me what does it mean all of this ? i wanna know if my 2 packs IV nd AOS are accepted ..reviewed ?? when im expecting CASE COMPLETE !!

ALL my deep prayers for all of you to fly over this process soon .

Finally!!! NVC AND IID numbers obtained...now on to next steps....!!!!!

Now when i fill the DS261 Do i have to fill one for my wife and one for each of her children??

Just got my NVC case number today (or yesterday, not sure. Didn't have it last Friday either way). Anyway, I got the case number and IIN number.

Wonderful!! Time to run the gauntlet for you too!

Have you tried calling them at the NVC to see if your packages were scanned in? I have been going off of when they scan it. After scanning your package in, it has been taking about 12-13 business days for them to review it. So you can use that timeline to see when you can expect a Case Complete.
