:huh: Well Tod the brilliant customer service rep at NVC told me that they don't except sponsors that are on Social Security, so I asked for a supervisor who was semi nasty and said they don't adjudicate at NVC and that all I have to do is have parents write a letter stating they don't have to file taxes and why. Well, we are going to make sure we have enough adding property, CD's etc. I wish it wasn't all in the hands of the Embassy counselors. I need all your prayers so I can have my husband home and I can finally live a normal life with out so much stress. :( Thank you for letting me vent. (F)(L)(F)

Also, :ot: but, I got my first, very own car yesterday and thought I'd share the great news with you awesome folks :) It's a brand new, 2014 Prius. Only had 1 mile on it! I've wanted this car for years and years and finally got one! Although, I definitely wasn't expecting to get one, lol. I've been having car issues with the hand-me-down I received 2 years ago and my husband merely suggested I test drive one (since I never had before). Few hours later, ended up driving this off the lot :jest: The 50 mpg is nice though :D

Also thinking of getting a personalized license plate: Saylin! Not only do I use that name here but pretty much on all sites as my username :D

Now that my husband has announced it via his own post to the CR1 forum -- I wanted him to have the pleasure of breaking the news since he endured the stress of the interview! -- I'm happy to share with you lovely people that his visa was approved this morning :D:dancing:

Sending good vibes to everyone waiting and suffering right now. NVC is tough times lately :( I know there are a bunch of you waiting for imminent case completes, I'm keeping fingers crossed for you!

Can you try to get someone else to be a joint sponsor? Sister, brother, neighbour, friend, co-worker? It won't look good that your joint sponsor is on social security. In the CO's mind that just makes it more likely that the beneficiary ends up being a public charge. Sorry you are struggling with this, best of luck to you.

Can you try to get someone else to be a joint sponsor? Sister, brother, neighbour, friend, co-worker? It won't look good that your joint sponsor is on social security. In the CO's mind that just makes it more likely that the beneficiary ends up being a public charge. Sorry you are struggling with this, best of luck to you.

Great thank you again! Can't believe they still haven't generated transcripts yet :(. It just makes me nervous to send paper return filed+copy of W2 as W2 has $0.50 and return rounded down...Plus it has other interest income from bank and dividends which are not listed on W2 obviously. I guess I am just thinking too much about the checklist that I might get..Plus don't want to delay anything anymore as everything has already been delayed so much! :(

Don't be nervous, just use the numbers from the tax returns as you're supposed to (1040=total income, 1040EZ= adjusted gross income), include the W2, and you'll be fine :)

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

Don't be nervous, just use the numbers from the tax returns as you're supposed to (1040=total income, 1040EZ= adjusted gross income), include the W2, and you'll be fine :)

Yes that is the goal. I will wait until they invoice me for AOS and see if IRS has my transcripts ready by then, if not then I will just mail in paper 2013 return + W2. Will see what happens after that..I am also going to mail 2012 & 2011 transcripts. It is out of my control at this point. :(
