nvc said they had the paperwork on 13 may but could not give a case number for 6 weeks?

They have assigned case numbers to cases received up to Apr 16th so far, according to this thread.

Hi everybody! Got my case number and IIN April 12, but now when i log in is shows that my case is in the proccess of temination and that i cannot make online payments, is that a website error or is that something i should be worried about? And also how long after case number assigned can i start making my payments? Would appreciate some answers.

That notice on CEAC is not unusual, but the fact that it's been over a month since you got your case number is... you should have received an email from NVC by now to fill in the DS261 and pay the AOS fee. Have you not received an email?

Interview scheduled June 25 Montreal!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

After waiting 5 weeks for NVC to receive our file, we got our case # 2 days later. Quick question, are the IIN and BIN usually assigned at the same time? They said that info wasn't available.

Some people have had to wait a day or so to get those numbers, so just try calling again early next week.

Does anybody know if i can send the i-864ez instead of the i-864 with the checklist

Why would you risk making mistakes with a new form, when you've already had the I864 reviewed and only one error to correct. I'd stick with the I864 if it were me :luv:

question...on the first page of the i864 on the mailing address for immigrant, the address doesn't fit on 2a, what should i do?

Hand write it :)

Question:

I stupidly filed an old version of the I-184 AOS document. I have to resend it but I also have to resend the W2, Tax and Proof of Employment docs. I had also sent in a stack of forms for proving Domicile. Do I have to resend all those as well? It does not say anything about Domicile documents.

The letter states the following:

The sponsor or joint sponsor submitted an obsolete Affidavit of Support form. You can obtain an up-to-date version on U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website: http://uscis.gov/i-864

If the sponsor or joint sponsor already submitted any of the following documents, he or she must resubmit them with the up-to-date Affidavit of Support form:

* Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement

* Federal Income Tax Return or Transcript * Proof of Current or Self-Employment

Thanks

Well if you have copies of everything anyways (which is always recommended for anything in the Immigration journey), maybe it's worth sending them another copy. Better to be safe than sorry.

In form g-325 i writei i had no jobs. In form D-260 i write i had job. can it be a problem for getting visa? please help. i am very upset.

In form g-325 asked for last five years. I had job 2008-2012. In form 260 asked for job last 10 years so i wrote in form-260 i had job.

Now I'm confused, as your job from 2008-2012 was within the last 5 years. Why didn't you include that on the g-325?

I'm depressed tonight. I talked to Rosa, and she was friendly, but not very helpful. I sent my response to the bogus checklist (NVC is incorrect) on May 7th, and USPS says it was delivered the morning of May 8th. And yet, it was not scanned in until May 14th. Rosa said - it's 30 WORKING days from the time of response for anything. I asked specifically what the response time was for attorneys who write to the NVCAttorney email box - and she said 30 working days.

If it takes six weeks for them to even look at the explanation of why they are wrong in the first place, we will not get an interview until August. I'm really so unhappy tonight. It's going on too long for something that is THEIR mistake. And...they will not do a supervisor review - I asked.

My AOS and IV packets, and my DS-260 were all submitted on April 9th. We should have had Case Complete by the end of April - and now it looks as if we may even miss the July interviews!

That will mean we will have been in the system over 14 months by the time my partner can get to the US. It didn't do me a damned bit of good to be super prepared, with everything ready to go. All because a reviewer cannot interpret the requirements for a Police Report correctly.

ARGH.

My petition has reached Nashua. Alhamdolilah. I was getting nervous there. Now I'll just have to pray that there's no checklists. Heads will roll if I get one after paying out the wazoo for a lawyer. We sent in everything, like even certificates we don't need but would probably get check listed for because the reviewers are so competent. I'm seriously hoping that my husband will be here before Eid al-fitr. Doing Ramadan all by myself is really gonna suck... Inshallah we can celebrate together...

It probably won't take that long for them to review your document. Fingers crossed!
