My senator finally wrote me back and possibly things are moving? She wants me to send her a scanned copy of our marriage certificate so she can show it to her "contact" at the NVC. She also asked for the county name where we were married.

I think you can go ahead and pay the AoS and IV bills while you are waiting for the embassy change.

Call and ask them if you can continue processing while waiting for an embassy/case # change.

I think I read in this forum that people actually continue the process while waiting for the embassy or case # change.

thanks, when I log in my fee section is always unavailable for the last three weeks, all I have done is complete the agent address form, but I will call and see if I can continue the process while waiting for the change!!!

Hey guys, after you've paid the fees and it has been deducted from your account, how long will it take to show as paid?

You paid both fees on 5/10. The money should have been withdrawn by now or it is being drawn right now. The PAID status will show by the end of this week.

But once the money is withdrawn, you are good to send in both the packages. Make sure you put the bar-coded pages (separate ones for AOS and IV packages) on top of the packets.

I tracked my packet the whole time, when my case left NVC and U.S. airspace the weight of this journey became very light.

I have let myself dream for the first time in over a year of being with my wife and son....(no more skype dates).... :)

I just had some furniture delivered and doing some last minute touches around the house. Our conversations has taken

on this beautiful tone of hope and optimism as we have been liberated. I am waiting to celebrate with you very soon.

Your day is fast approaching when your life will no longer be on hold :D

I just called NVC (for the second time today), and unfortunately was told that I got a checklist for my AOS docs that were logged on Apr 24. I'm disappointed, but at least I can move forward with the next step. For anyone who had packages logged into the sytem on the 24th, it looks like they've been working on them yesterday and today.

I couldn't help it .. I have turned in to Etrangais today...

This operator I just talked to... can't remember who she was...

Her: the operator yesterday never should have requested a supervisor review.

Me: She was confused as to why they were reviewing it again yesterday without the new mail. It was already reviewed almost 2 weeks ago, They sent me a checklist for the Birth Cert already.

Her: ( nasty) They aren't going to review it again. You just have to wait . They didn't even look at your mail that is waiting...

Me: that isn't what I was told this morning. I was told it is being reviewed right now. Not just scanned in, its actually with someone.

Her: you just have to wait...

Me: yea yea thanks ( click)

Sorry to hear about your checklist for the AOS documents. Did they let you know exactly what they are requesting? I am nervous because I remember that we are in similar situations. :/

The NVC rep didn't know anything, but she said that the checklist concerned myself, my joint sponsor, and the "household member" that I used to supplement my joint sponsor's income, because she mentioned my parents' names. It must be related to the I-864 documents, not the proof of domicile. I will update as soon as I get the checklist email.

The NVC rep didn't know anything, but she said that the checklist concerned myself, my joint sponsor, and the "household member" that I used to supplement my joint sponsor's income, because she mentioned my parents' names. It must be related to the I-864 documents, not the proof of domicile. I will update as soon as I get the checklist email.
