I got it, Interview letter is not required for getting PCC from PSK's. NOA1 xerox is more than enough and written letter for purpose of PCC. They will provide PCC on same day.

NVC received your case on 5/2 and you got a case number on 5/7???

Just sent out my AOS packet today. Now will prepare IV packet and wait for ds-260 to be available. Quick question do i need to submite the Police certificate for my wife to the NVC from Santo Domingo. Because i know i have to also bring one to the interview.so that means i need to have my wife get one for the nvc and then another one for the interview??

You need to get One for NVC and The embassy will let u know if u need a new one (at least that's what I heard)

Is the original I-797 (NOA2) required for the Consular Interview?

Kuwait's postal service is a bottomless pit. Last piece of mail I received was in December last year (a formal job offer that expired the previous September !!!).

The NOA2 is only a notice.

You might only need it if the NVC does not receive your petition. NVC may ask for it as proof of approval so that they can search for it.

It does not carry any weight as far as your application is concerned!

Oh my definitely a dilemma but what is worse to you, spend the money or have to wait for the Visa? Just something to think about, plus the fact if you apply now you would have a valid one no matter what. Just saying.

I got my answer yesterday police say it vaild for 3 month but its not true it's vaild for year i heared from everyone and main police station they said its vaild for year so i don't have to retake one

and my cousin who got her visa yesterday and she took her PC last August and my interview letter the code didnt say F its say O its mean they already have it

Hi all,

I had a question about naming the AOS documents if I choose to file them electronically via e-mail. For example, would I name the I-864's something like ABC1111222333_Sponsors_Name_I864.pdf, and ABC1111222333_CoSponsors_Name_I864.pdf? I'm confused as it says to put the full name of the applicant whose document you scanned and there will be 2 I-864's sent in for my case.

I'm just wondering the same thing... maybe something like this:

MTL1111222333_My_Name_Petitioner_I864.pdf and

MTL1111222333_My_Name_Joint_Sponsor_I864.pdf

That's sort of what I'm leaning toward. It will make it easier to identify the other supporting documents as well, so they can look at one whole set of documents at a time, if they want, but my name is the one that is supposed to be there as "applicant".

Yes just got off the phone with a nice lady didn't hear her name. It's been two weeks and nothing yet and as usual she said to call in 30 days. Must be 30 from the 26 Th. But since things don't make much sense in the Twilight Zone you should go ahead and call. You just might have your Case #.

I see you waited 217 days, mine 283 but is actually 334 actually longer mine was filed and received first week of March. I was hoping for a break here at NVC but I know that wont happen. I'm trying my best to be positive but am failing at times. Then the long wait for Egypt OMG I don't want to think that far head. :crying:

Ok thanks. My husband said he'll call them next week, we don't want to call this week and get disappointed. I pray we get a case number soon so we can all get started. Congrats to all who got case complete and those who got interview dates, I wish u all the best.

AOS I-864 question: I'm including my partner's 2013, 2012, and 2011 tax transcripts.

Do I select both 13 and 14?

13. I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

14. (Optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years.

Since I'm attaching the 2013 tax transcript, I should select 13, but it states the tax return for only the most recent tax year... Maybe it states like that since it's optional to include 2012 and 2010 tax transcripts?

Your welcome, I wonder if it's the same for Egypt I also heard it's only valid for 3 months but that the US Embassy has that rule. Wonder how to check this. hummmmmm
