Hi DS 160 question. As I understand I can't fill out And pay the DS 160 for my fiance since he needs to sign it at the end? But does he need to bring a printed copy with him ti the interviewor he just signs and pays for uit and only brings a receipt to the interview???

Hi All,

Similar to another post (prior to getting approved) I had looked at other cases with subsequent #s to my case #. The results are positive, none have been denied.

0% Denied

9% rejected (bad address/incorrect submission)

13% Waiting for A#

35% RFE

43% Approved

No, your case could be with a different officer entirely. There are a lot of variables. My number within 300 of yours and was only approved a couple days ago. You should hear something very very soon!

Hi, thanks for the message. Yes that was just a change of address notification. When I changed my address they sent me a letter letting me know it was changed and the post office didn't deliver it, haha.

The devastation we went through with our first Petition was a very sad experience, but we collected some patients and Re applied, NOW FINALLY OUR WELL DESERVED APPROVAL IS HERE!!!! Yes Gary got the letter today saying that the divorce document he sent in wasn't what they wanted so he has to try and get a 'more official' one.

I know its an RFE but I'm still happy that they didn't lose our petition :)

I received our RFE letter in the mail today. I apparently forgot to provide a picture of myself, which I know I provided because I got the photo taken the day before I mailed in the application. They are just looking for a passport photo of myself right?

it said: submit proof of the legal termination of the marriage.You submitted a copy of the decree nisi.This is not considered to be evidence of a final divorce decree for immigration purposes.Such proof would normally be a final (absolute) divorce decree, death certificate, etc. In order for the legal termination of a marriage to be considered valid for immigration purposes, it must have been registered with a civil authority.
