Wow. A real transfer. I think it would really only go to one other place and that is CSC unless they have decided to start processing at other centers to help relieve TSC.

Chrisx...please let us know where you were transferred to as soon as you find out. This is very interesting...

I did not understand they will transfer same tic filer to anther service to reduce the delay???

Not sure why the petitioner was transferred as we don't know the details. It could be due to a move to the other region or it may be to help reduce the load. If we see several more transfers in the coming days or weeks, it may be safe to say they are trying to reduce the workload at TSC so they can try to catch up.

We can certainly hope. However, this is only the second transfer I have seen in 6 months so we shall see.

Just checked my status and my case is transferred to another office... Atleast some movement at TSC...

I just checked my case status on the USCIS website. My case is still in Initial Review, but it now says this:

On August 8, 2014, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

So it's now at my local office... not sure why.

I dont even know if this is a good or a bad thing... i wonder WHICH service centered did they transfer it to?

As I noticed a few April filer being transfered to another office when I woke up (french hour), I decided to go check my statut (which didn't move since May 2) on the USCIS website. And this is what I have found:

"On August 8, 2014, we transferred this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action."

Whatever it means, I am praying it's a great new and that things move faster for all of us waiting for our NOA2 whenever our NOA1is from.

I wonder if Vermont or Nebraska started processing i-129f forms again... From what I can see, they are transferring late April and early May fillers ... The suspense is killing me. I was checking Igor's list quite a few times a day, happy to see all the latest approvals and trying to plan my moving there accordingly... But now, I dont know what to expect anymore.

We will receive a hard copy of the transfer in our mail, one more thing to wait for to finally see where we have been transferred...and from there... God bless us. Let's hope we will go through this faster than if we would have stayed at TSC.

I just 'ran' to check our case status and apparently no updates....... :*(

But here's hope for more efficient and even processing time for everyone!

I know! And I was so looking forward to my amazing extra sleep since tomorrow is Saturday. But here I am..nearly 4am and I'm so freakin excited I won't be able to sleep anymore!

This is great news for you guys I think. If they do it right, this will mean approvals will start rolling in around 3-6 weeks if not sooner.
