Hi,

My package is close to being ready and I wanted to see if it's ok to send the package directly to the Service Center. I live in Los Angeles and I was informed I can just mail it to the California Service Center in Laguna Niguel instead of sending it to Dallas. Please advise. My friend said it would be much quicker to just send it to the California Service Center directly. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

When in doubt, follow the official USCIS instructions:

http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f-addresses

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Please follow the guide. There is no shortcut for this immigration journey and you have to follow their rules otherwise they will send your I-129F packet back. Though you know it'll going to CSC but USCIS is the one who make decision to en-route to CSC. Not petitioners.

I think the instructions say to mail it to Texas. ALWAYS follow the instructions, if you want an easy time of it.

You mail it to the Texas lockbox. Your payment is received there, and your petition is routed to the proper service center. Do not send it directly to the service center because it could delay your case.

As everyone else said, always follow the instructions on the website. Otherwise, you risk delaying your process, which is more than likely going to be long enough as is! Send it to the Texas lockbox.

Follow the I-129F/USCIS instructions and not hearsay from a friend. ALL I-129F petitions are mailed to the Dallas lockbox, as instructed on the USCIS website(that A&B posted above) that is linked through the I-129F instructions.
