I finally got my letter for biometrics. It is scheduled for September 18th.

What is going on at VSC have they all taken an extended holiday? A March applicant was approved on 8/18 and since then, nothing. That's almost four weeks without another approval.

takes about 6 months to get an answer, i don't know why everyone is freaking out. You still have a year extension on your temp card, and they just started working on march cases, which means we won't be looked at for another 2 months.

I don't think anyone is "freaking out". I think we are all just wondering what is happening at VSC and why CSC can work so much faster. What better place to do this than on a forum where we are all in the same boat? Also VSC haven't "just started" working on March cases, the first approval was almost 4 weeks ago and nothing since. Either the rest of the March filings were extremely complicated or VSC are not processing I-751s (yes I know not all I-751 applicants use this forum, but statistically it should be a good cross-section of applicants).

Edited to say that VSC have processed a couple more March filers in the last couple of days. Holiday must be over

Hello Everyone, I just want to check in and update you all.

I received a RFE on August 11th and responded to it on September 5th

Today I received an email and text message that my card is in production. Words cannot explain how i am feeling right now. I was told that i would be denied because i got divorced. I gave my marriage my all and refused to stay when my husband cheated and had a baby by another woman.

A big thank you to everyone who offered their support and kind words of encouragement. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

Hi everyone I got an email to dated sept 22,2014 about my address change ,,but the thing is I have a new receipt number the one that comes with my 1 yr extension does work ,,so when I put in the new receipt number it work ,,,but what I don't understand why would the change my receipt number ,,now it shows like my petition started over like I just send my paper works ...but we see since vermounth is no where near may filers,,,anyone have this problem

I received my address change letter today in the mail as well. The receipt number in the letter should be the same receipt number on your biometrics letter. The receipt number in the 1yr extension doesnt work. The one on your bio letter is the correct one.

OK but it the 1yr extension one I use before to check my case status ,,,but u are right the one on my bio letter is the same as the change of address ,...so does that mean I am still a may filer not September,,,

The 1 yr extension would say your case cannot be found or something like that. Yes you are still a May filer. The case status is just showing the date your case was last updated which is today. September 22nd. Good luck..
