On Saturday I put a request online for my case number- I got it today to follow it online.

chimcham, what did you do exactly? Just curious. :) I put a e-request last Friday, but no reply yet.

Hi, I just submitted and e-request to find out what is happening with my biometrics. After I submitted it appeared a message that said I will get an answer around July 15, that's quite a while <_<.

I noticed that the email was optional on the e-request form, so if I wasn't to put the email, how or where I can see their answer? :rolleyes:

next time you 'catch' another Tier 1, INSIST to be transferred or escalated to a Tier 2 rep that can inform you further on the status of your case. Don't be afraid to be demanding; after all you PAID for the service over a month ago, and it wasn't cheap. We shouldn't even have to run after them to get some answers. If you ask me, this is terrible customer service.

Agree, for the money we paid, we should get answers right away. If biometrics are not required simply send us a letter telling that and include a new case number so we can track it online. It should be that simple.

Totally. That's what I keep thinking. I don't see where it's difficult for them to create a generic letter with the new case number... Oh well, that's the USCIS, there's not much we can do but deal with it.

I filled out the e request yesterday,but got a message that as I have a service request in I cant do an e request as well,they said it could be up to 30 days from the date of the service request before we hear anything.

Yes, looks like when you call them and they put a service request for you, they actually fill out the same form as the e-request...

I just got a reply by email to my e-request. It says my biometrics letter is coming shortly and that my appointment is July 9th at the ASC in Sacramento. Converts, any reply for you?

I had a question I friend of my was put into deportation proceeding the case went before a judge and the case was administratively close now his 1year extention had expire so he did an info pass and they told him they could stop his passport and the have to transfer his case to California.. This from 2010 and he still hasn't gotten any answer ..now call California and they told him to make another info pass along with 3 passport pic so they can stamp his book ..my question is can he file for his citizenship with this case pending since its been so long or he has to wait to see what the outcome of the case is

It seems complicated. You should create a thread about it, and explain why he was put into deportation proceeding.
