Im on mobile but if someone can update the list for me please. I got my noa date on 5/27 and did my biometrics as scheduled on 6/20. Now awaiting decision. Anyone have any idea how long that usually takes?

I just spoke with a Tier 2 rep and he said that my last Biometrics from AOS were current and that new ones were not needed at this moment. He then gave me my application number so i can track its progress online. Updating my Biometrics status...

I just spoke with a Tier 2 rep and he said that my last Biometrics from AOS were current and that new ones were not needed at this moment. He then gave me my application number so i can track its progress online. Updating my Biometrics status...

How did you get to talk to the Tier 2? Did you ask directly the Tier 1 to transfer you?

How did you get to talk to the Tier 2? Did you ask directly the Tier 1 to transfer you?

I explained to the Tier 1 rep that the 30-day or so timeframe to receive the Biometrics appointment letter had passed and i had not received the letter. She asked for my receipt number, checked it on her computer and figured that she would need to 'escalate' me to a Tier 2 rep. After being transferred the machine informed me of a 2-hour waiting period. I then scheduled a callback and after an hour and half or so, i received my callback and spoke to Mr.Tier 2.

quickest way to get someone on the phone; when the machine prompts it: Choose that you DO NOT have a receipt number it will then transfer you to Tier 1 :thumbs:

Oh that's what I did, but the Tier 1 that I talked to was acting like a robot by repeating the same thing over and over when I was trying to say that it's past 30 days and I would like to know what's going on with my biometrics (and get my new case number).

That was an actual person, but not an helpful and comprehensive one. :)

That was an actual person, but not an helpful and comprehensive one. :)

next time you 'catch' another Tier 1, INSIST to be transferred or escalated to a Tier 2 rep that can inform you further on the status of your case. Don't be afraid to be demanding; after all you PAID for the service over a month ago, and it wasn't cheap. We shouldn't even have to run after them to get some answers. If you ask me, this is terrible customer service.
