I would like to know the number i can call and inquire about the visa....does anyone know that...??????

There is no telling when AP will be done. Sometimes it's 2 months or less, sometimes it's 2 years. Pakistan traditionally has high AP times. After AP is done the visa will likely be issued within 90 days.

No one you can call will be able to give you any information about it. They won't tell you what they're doing, or how long it will take.

Instead you should have your senior Senator inquire about the case for you. They can inquire at a higher level.Get in touch and get on them to contact State ASAP.

You can call the US Embassy Islamabad directly 0092-51- 2080000 and ask them but They will NOT be able to tell you how long it is going to take. because different Departments of both countries have to do the process.

GOOD LUCK.

He can certainly do that.

He'll get the same answer as he would asking anyone else because they don't tell senators anything about what's going on with AP either, of course.

Having worked in bureaucratic structures before, I can tell you there's going to be a difference in urgency between a Senator asking this question and a lowly USC.

Yes, they'll get back to a senator much quicker with the update of "this case is in AP, we have nothing else to report on it" than they will to a USC inquiry, true.
