Hi there new user my name is Robin and my Fiances name is Christina i am wondering if someone can give us some help with the first packet you send to apply for your k1 visa mainly do we need to send petioners most recent tax sheet and w2 or can we do this later when we file the 1-134? As my fiance needs some time to file her recent taxes we just want to make sure we send everything required at this stage so far we have.

1-129f

g-325a for both

birth certificate for both

passport style photos x2 for both

proof of ongoing relationship

proof of having met in the last 2 years

police report for me

cover letter for both

intent to marry for both

do we have everything covered? any feedback would be much appreciated

Financials come later, at the consulate interview.

You don't need the police report now either.

Check out the VJ guides up top and comb through the I-129F instructions. Good luck.

Are you the US citizen? What would you need to include a police report for? Do you have a criminal history of some sort? Also, the foreign fiancee's birth certificate is not needed with the I-129F petition. Only the USC petitioner needs to prove their US citizenship and provide that type of documentation. The foreign fiancee will need theirs when it comes time for the K-1 visa interview later.

Also, don't send the financials too soon. You want to provide recent proof of current income such as most recent pay stubs with the I-134.
