Guys,

Can you (those with Indian other halves in a province under the Mumbai Jurisdiction only) please shine the light on the PCC at NVC situation ?

I sent in the whole kaboodle sans the PCC.

DIdnt think

Anybody from MUMBAI ONLY (NOT from Delhi) know if I am going to get checklisted ?

We got 2 copies of PCC done. One I sent to NVC. The other she will carry with her to Mumbai (hopefully in June).

But I have also heard that for Mumbai, NVC will complete your case with a checklist saying you need to carry the PCC to the interview. I guess you will find out soon. You need to get the PCC done anyway.

01-03-14 - Transfer notice to Nebraska

01-06-14 - Application received at Nebraska

03-13-14 - NOA2 notification

03-25-14 - NVC received case

04-24-14 - Case number and IIN received over the phone

05-02-14 - Paid AOS Fees

05-06-14 - Sent AOS package

05-07-14 - AOS Fees showed up as paid

05-08-14 - AOS package received at NVC (Scanned on may 8th)

05-08-14 - IV Bill showed up and paid

05-12-14 - Sent IV package overnight

Hey,

I got my case approved with out sending a PCC at NVC. A checklist will be generated just so you will be able to obtain a PCC from the passport office in India. For mumbai jurisdiction, NVC asks that you bring the most recent original copy to the interview. Hope this helps.

Hey,
