Hi all,

We have the packet ready to send - list below of contents and we would appreciate if it looks complete. But first a quick review of our story. We both live and work in Dubai, UAE. I, Greg, the petitioner from the US and she, Jho, is from the Philippines. We met in August 2011 and started dating and have dated exclusively since at least twice a week and for the last almost 2 years are together every day. So our story is a little different than most on this site. To the List:

• Check for $340 drawn on my US Bank
• Form G-1145 (I filled my email and my UAE mobile number)
• Cover letter with a complete table of contents
• Form I-129F - Signed with Supplements:
  • Part 1, Question 2 a-i - my mailing address and phone (legal in US and Dubai) - signed by me
  • Part 2, Question 3 a-i - Her mailing address and phone in Dubai - signed by both of us
  • Part 2, Question 29 a-f Address Abroad & 30 Daytime Phone - Signed by both of us
  • Part 2, Question 34 a, explanation of meeting in person
  • Part 4, Question 2 & 3 Daytime Phone & Mobile phone
• My Birth Certificate copy of front and back
• Fiance Letter of Intent - me signed
• Fiance Letter of Intent - her signed
• G325A - me signed with supplement on last 5 years addresses
• G325A - her signed
• Passport photo of each of us
• Relationship letter signed by me with:
  • Email and picture (in plastic bag and noted on back with date and occasion) from 6 monthiversary (picture shows card from me)
  • Email from 1 year anniversary from her to me saying very nice things about us
  • 1 Page chat log
  • Copy of Receipt for engagement and wedding rings
  • 7 photos (in plastic bag and noted on back with date and occasion) spanning our relationship from start to current.
• Divorce Decree copies

I know I may have been a little too cautious with supplements but I tried to anticipate any areas where confusion could come up because of the unique circumstances.

Where is your proof that you met in person within the last 2 years before filing?

Take out the chat history, I don't recomend you send your chat history for 2 reasons: A. it can be faked, B. it violates privacy So use a telephone bill phone log or viber skype etc call logs instead of sending message HISTORY.

You are missing: evidence of meeting together within the last two years.

What evidence? Again we both live and work in Dubai, the photos are of us together from dates, events and resorts for the last 2+ years. Same for phone bills and Skype logs - we are here together all the time.

Photos alone are not proof though. You have passport stamps showing both of you entering the same country? Have a joint lease? Both have bank/credit card receipts/statements showing purchases being made in the same place at the same time? Have visas or some other legal document showing you both reside and/or work there?

Ok, I will add copies of our residency Visas - I don't have passport stamps because I have egate service in Dubai and Global Entry in the US so all my entries and exits are electronic. All purchases are made on my credit card or with cash. It is really difficult to proved based on your comments because we have lived and dated here for 32 months. We travel separately to our home countries for holidays, me 2x per year and her 1X per year so there ore no tickets.

As it has been said, photos are considered secondary evidence and they, by themselves, don't prove you've met physically in the previous 2 years (as crazy as it may sound, it's their rules, not mine). This means you need to prove you're currently living together in Dubai, and therefore able to spend time physically together. That's why any and all paperwork proving you're both living there will be important, as it places the both of you in the same country at the same time.

All purchases are made on my credit card or with cash. It is really difficult to proved based on your comments because we have lived and dated here for 32 months. We travel separately to our home countries for holidays, me 2x per year and her 1X per year so there ore no tickets.

Any documents you can show that will prove you are both in the same country/city at the same time can be used. The visas will help a lot, and showing some credit card statements for purchases made there could be helpful too. If you have any evidence at all that shows you both entering the country, then add those too. You just need some primary third party documentation to go along with your photos. If you have photos together in front of any landmarks there, then use those. Explain about living together and why you have no passport stamps.

Even though you are both in Dubai together, you need to include proof of meeting in person within the past 2 years- pictures, receipts, maybe in your case an affidavit from someone there in Dubai.

So we stopped the filing of the I-129F due to some paperwork problems in the Philippines. Her divorce parers were delayed in registering with the LCR and NSO so we will have to wait for those. In the meantime we are taking the apartment jointly instead of just in my name and will continue to collect proof of meeting so that isn't an issue. This all will probably delay the I-129F filing for several months.
