Well, the midwest winter is really bad. I'm not gonna lie. Here we don't tend to think of ourselves so much midwest as the north, where things are infinitely worse than the central midwest, too. :(

I don't like the cold weather. I left NY for Florida 1.5 yrs ago to escape the long winters and cold wind (and for a job).

I'm glad to be in a hot place :thumbs:

I don't like hot places, I'd choose NY over Florida in a heartbeat. I love going to the beach, I love spending weekends or vacations on a hot place, but I greatly dislike having to go to work on a daily basis sweating. So for me if I could choose I'd live in a cold place close to a hot place that I could go on weekends or on vacations :P . But we can't have it all, so I'm glad here in Kansas we have cold winters and hot summers, so even tho we're not close to the beach during the summer I can go to the backyard and tan, I don''t have to worry about being pale the entire year :P

Orlando is humid but there is AC everywhere you go so it's bearable. NY is hot in the summer and there is NOT AC everywhere - it's getting bad.

Manaus, on the other hand, is ridiculously HOTTTTT!
