hi,

i am emmanuel, filed an I-130 petition at the nebraska service center and the petition is in it's third month. i never got a RFE and never sent any mail to uscis but got an e-mail saying On April 10, 2014, we received your correspondence for your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN . You will receive a notice in the mail when further action is taken on this case. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. What does this mean?

Call the USCIS, speak to a tier 2, ISO (immigration services officer) and ask.

They are actually working on your case... I think your case might be approved soon

Weeeeeell, don't get too excited. It's a standard letter. It just says that your case has safely arrived to the USCIS office and is being processed there. That's it.

Where did you send it from?

Was this your first correspondence from the USCIS?

Did it include a number that started with 3 letters? MSC, LIN, WSC etc?

Oh see.. that's where it's odd. That didn't come from your NOA1 and isn't normal.

I suggest calling on Monday. Try as soon as USCIS is open, you get the shortest wait times for Tier 2 at that time.

the explanation i got was that, they probably was about to send me an RFE but since my have also filed an I-!29f and looking at the two they think there is enough evidence for now and if they will need further evedince in coming weeks they will let me know...and they should come to a decision in a month or two :)
