Hi,

I've been checking Igor's List on how the progress is going in Texas, but I always get confused about how things go there. They approve one from December, and then one from even March, and then from February... It shows that they have lots of cases still waiting from January or December. Why are things going like that over there? Is this normal?

Or can it be because some people don't update their timelines, or the ones that get transferred don't state that...?

K1 Journey: AOS Journey:

March 25, 2014: I-129f sent. April 16, 2015: Date filed.

April 1, 2014: NOA1 received & check cashed. April 22, 2015: NOA received.
April 2, 2014: Alien Registration Number changed.
Sep 16, 2014: NOA2 - Petition approved!
Sep 23, 2014: Case shipped to NVC.

Oct 01, 2014: Case arrived at NVC.

Oct 03, 2014: Got our case number!

Oct 06, 2014: Left NVC.

Oct 17, 2014: At the Embassy.

Oct 22, 2014: Packet 3 received.

Nov 03, 2014: Packet 3 sent.

Nov 11, 2014: Medical examination.

Dec 2, 2014: Packet 4 received.

Dec 8, 2014: Interview! (Approved!!!)

Dec 10, 2014: Visa received!!!

Jan 22, 2015: US Entry!

Feb 22, 2015: Happily ever after! :-)

April 16, 2015: Filed Adjustment of STatus.

April 22, 2015: AOS NOA received.

May 14, 2015: Biometrics appointment.

October 09, 2015: AOS approved!

September 05, 2017: Lifting conditions filed.

Ah HUGE problem is people entering Texas as the service centre and then transferred to California same day (not a transfer).

Some people on VJ are confusing the Texas lockbox/sorting facility with the Texas Service centre.

Therefore when they list as transfer to California centre, Igor's list is going off the original service centre....

If you click on any of those TSC petitions that have been approved in 2 months or less, guaranteed majority are incorrect transfers (which don't count) and are making TSC timeline estimates seem faster than what they actually are.

TSC is averaging 5 months.

On March 2014 Filers topic, there was one case that got approval in 30 days in TSC. And I've also seen some approvals on February or January topics, and I'm pretty sure they know where their cases are. It makes me confused! And I think it's really unfair for TSC filers because CSC filers get theirs much quicker. :(

Can we request for our petitions to be transferred from TSC to CSC? This unknown wait is understandably horrible. Ugh. Terry

Unfortunately no. I checked to see if that was possible with a Tier 2 officer and the only way they would consider it is if you had a good enough reason to have your petition expedited.

You're very welcome! And thank you very much I hope that you both have a very stress free journey (even though the wait is extremely hard) I wrote an email to USCIS Headquarters to see if it would help at all possibly telling them of the severe backup at TSC and that they should transfer some of the load to CSC to get them caught up etc. etc. and never received an email back. But hey doesn't hurt to try.
