after i sent the DS-260 (March 17) I received yesterday a CHECKLIST COVER LETTER from NVC,

My wife had already sent all the documents to the NVC, what does this letter I received, I think I'll have to bring them police certificates at the Embassy, and not send them to the NVC,

can someone help me understand, thanks_

(Nulla).The Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti is a certified record of pending criminal charges, or a

statement that no such charges exist, from the office of the Procura della Repubblica in the applicant’s

place of residence.

we also received a checklist after we have submitted the docs I'm also wondering why they are still giving me instruction how to get NBI (Philippine Police Certificate) coz I already sent mine.so I asked my husband to call them.they said just ignore it if you already submitted the said docs coz they are not reviewing the docs yet . It's only a checklist for the docs that we have to send them.u will see in the general instruction at the last page if they are asking you to do something.

Police certificates are sent to the NVC. They send everything to the embassy or consulate for your interview. Some embassies I think make you hand carry a copy however.

I suggest calling the NVC and seeing what's up. Just seems a little long and detailed for a false checklist.

We phoned the NVC, they said they want my police certificates, birth certificate, etc.., in short, everything that was written in the list.

Luckily I had already prepared for the interview at the Consulate, I sent them to my wife in the U.S. with an e-mail, so he could send them to the NVC in a short time.

Tuesday, I had gotten confirmation that they received the checklist response. So weird. We called NVC and got a not so nice person today who couldn't tell us anything.

All the originals have to go to the NVC. You don't take them to the consulate with you. They cannot be a scanned copy etc...

If you've ever had court proceedings you need the court documentation. Most people who have never been in trouble just need a police certificate.

This is correct. Emailing will not work. The actual original documents must arrive at NVC with the cover sheet.

The NVC gave me these instructions to phone, I hope you are not playing

I wrote in the letter that you were instructed to bring the originals to the my interview in Naples.

NVC can make that arrangement with you, but it is expected you will mail the originals to NVC. If they confirmed this was OK in your case, and you get an interview appointment that way, great. I am not playing.

Hi! if you've already sent to NVC, you don't need to send again.

At interview remember to bring Casellario Giudiziale Generale e Carichi Pendenti.

On my interview letter wrote NVC send all documents to Consulate, but for sure better bring another!

Hello . you have to send your original documents with your cover sheet in the front of your documents , not a copy for them , this is what i have done 2 days ago by DHL , and you have to keep 1 copy and bring it to ur interview .. bye
