Hi,

I am working on a CR1 visa for my wife and was finished with the NVC on Feb 6th, and it is now Apr 2nd. We still don't have an appointment at the embassy in Cairo Egypt. I would just like to ask around to find out how long other people have been waiting to see how much longer we might have to wait just for this interview appointment.

with no expedite you are looking at 5-6 months from what i have read and been told. we are lucky to get our's with expedite due to some medical issues and i am pregnant. there are still some people waiting from dec and jan and i think as far back as august..i hope they get it together but it is all because of what has been going on over there. Good luck :)

Case Complete at NVC 03/14/2014

Expedite granted at NVC level 03/18/2014

Left NVC for Embassy 03/20/2014

Received by Embassy 03/24/2014

Received Interview date for 05/04/2014 :)

Visa granted 05/04/2014 :dancing:
