Dwheels, I hope you're well. I am a bit worried that we have not received a case complete email after we were told our case was completed last Monday (24th). We did receive an email the day after on the 25th that was a checklist to bring along to the interview (not NVC). The email said they have finished reviewing our case and I need to bring missing item to interview. Is this my case complete email? It came one day after our case was completed not one week that is why I am confused. Three different phone reps have said our case is complete but I just want to make sure.

The case complete email I got basically said

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

.......dont make travel plans etc....

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of

the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at

the following URL: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

That means your case is complete at NVC. They finished reviewing it. You just need to bring the pending items to the interview at the embassy. We got the same email.

Ok thanks. We were just thrown off as it came with the usual barcode cover sheet etc so we were worried that it was a normal checklist even though it said they have finished reviewing our case. 3 NVC phone reps have confirmed case complete so it must be!

We were confused too because of the first two pages of the checklist with the barcode and everything, but as you did, we called and they said our case is complete, that we just need to wait for the interview letter. I hope we get it soon :D

Best Wishes!

Welcome to the New and Improved Case Complete to Interview monthly thread.

The list that has been updated has now been moved to a spreadsheet like the one used in the NVC filers thread, I am still updating. But right right all you waiting for interviews are listed.

You can view my spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtbvTEwLyHz1dGNMV1RZcmlNaW1oT24wdmRGS0RWbHc&usp=sharing To update your interview date go here.

When I tried to view the spreadsheet it said request for permission has been sent. Would you allow me to view the spreadsheet (although I am not on it yet)? Thanks. BTW This spreadsheet is a great idea.
