Hi! I created a Word document of the DS260 from the January 2014 screenshots. I wanted to make it available, and asked about how to do it a few times, with no luck! Do you know how I can make a Word doc available on VJ? At least for me, it was helpful in compiling the information (especially all those addresses)! Thank you!

Hi there,

I see that you had same problems with your parents case number too. How long did it take for NVC to change case # and what did you do to change it.

I have same problem, our daughter got correct embassy and I am not. I sent NVC e-mail with a request. Did you do the same or not?

My Mum's case number was changed in just a few days but my Dad's took about 2 weeks so he was behind my Mum up until now where the 2 cases have caught up to each other. I called several times and sent emails to the NVC. Keep on at them to get it changed over and make sure that they tell you that a supervisor review has been put into the computer. Good luck!

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

husband sent AOS via certified mail, now my worry if they attempt to deliver it on a saturday and there's no one there to receive it? would NVC bother to pick it up at the post office? or USPS will attempt another delivery the following monday? hope using certified mail won't cause us any more delays.....

No need to worry, USPS will deliver it on (following) Monday. It happened to my IV docs last week. I was so worried because as I tracked my mail, USPS delivered it to NVC on Saturday (03/29/14) and it says they left a notice because NVC was closed and will try 2nd delivery attempt and if unclaimed for 5 days they will send it back to the sender. But on 03/31/14 (Monday) 9am my IV docs been delivered and signed by NVC personnel.

NVC RECEIVED : 02/06/14

CASE # ASSIGNED: 03/17/14

DS 261/AOS FEE: 03/18/14

AOS SENT: 03/19/14

IV BILL: 03/25/14

DS260: 03/26/14

IV DOCS SENT: 03/31/14

FALSE CHECKLIST: 04/04/14

CASE COMPLETE: 04/15/14

No, it isn't the same coversheet. You need to wait to pay your IV fee before you send the IV documents. When you pay the fee, you will get a new coversheet.

I was planning to call tonight but after Jem's update decided I couldn't wait.... CASE COMPLETE :dance: London is also still scheduling for May interviews. I have essentially no hope that we'll get a May date, especially based on the other UK members on the interview thread, but I had to ask anyway!

Yes they are different. When it lets you print it out from CEAC then that is the green light.

Use IE for pay and print. Turn off popup blocker if you have one. I have Internet Download Manager

so mine automatically downloaded as pdf files. You of course can print from the window.

And how about filling out forms and paying AOS fees, did you wait for new numbers or not?

So you were keep calling NVC and asking them if they change case numbers? I thought that in this case you just sit in wait for response to your e-mail, because based on what the lady told me, that there is a line.

Just upload your word file with a description.
