Quick question, did you guys send one or two photocopies of passport bio page? And yes, I did read the wiki several times, just asking what people actually did

I sent just one copy.

I am confused about what to put for my income. I know I have already asked this question but the answer I got did not really apply to my circumstance.

I am the petitioner. I currently live in Australia with my husband and am employed here. I have accepted a job offer and will be moving back to the USA and starting my new job July 28th.

For Part 6 1. Employed as a/an __________

What should I put? My current employer in Australia?

For Part 6 5. My current individual annual income is: ___________

Should I put my current income even though it won't count or should I put my income for my new job? I have my employment contract for my new job stating my salary.

And if I am not using anyone else's income towards my household, would my current Annual Household Income be my current income or my expected USA income?

I would either list my current employer and attach a letter explaining that it's abroad and it will end on such and such a date, or I'd put unemployed.

For income, I'd use my anticipated income from the new job and also explain that with proof/ contract copy/ employment letter.

Perhaps others here would do differently.

For me, it started out being every evening when I was on the July filers thread. It was the same even when I started studying the NVC thread in advance. Lately, once a day isn't enough... as soon as I got to NVC, it became first thing in the morning with my coffee, then mid-day for a little break from work, and now I come probably 3-4 times a day! And there are at least 2-5 pages to catch up on each time lol, this thread is HOT!

Oh no! I'm so sorry this happened to you, we were running neck and neck and I was hoping to share the joys of CC with you.... but who knows, maybe I have a checklist coming yet too and we'll still run together

My lawyer made the same mistake and I got really pissed after an argument.. so I sent the correction the following monday. It was received 3 days after the original ... You would think since immigration is supposed to be thier specialty..... they would know the rules.... and you can't tell me they never got a checklist in the past... I was thinking of printing out Saylins WIKI and handing it to them tonight at my meeting.

I remember reading how upset and angry you were! I woke up this morning and saw the Checklist and I was just devastated! I just figured she knew how to complete it since this is what she does for a living, so I never even mentioned it to her to make sure it was done correctly.

Unfortunately, I hired her before I found VJ. She was great for doing the translations, but I have had to be on top of her for everything else.

Oh whew lol. This week has been crazy busy for me at work, I've gone through a little withdrawal not being able to post much =x Tomorrow and Friday I have meetings from 10:30-5... I'm going to be itching to jump on and reply to stuff here as I watch all the email notifications come through!

Why it takes forever for my IV fee to show Paid? Until now still in process and no DS260 yet available.. I paid the bill on apr. 24th.. I hope later today iM gonna see good news on CEAC website with DS260 available.

I hope so... I am really worried about using the total income for both the total income slot and the expected income slot. Sandy @ NVC this morning told me that the TOTAL INCOME is what they care about. I should not get dinged for the expected income as long as it is over the poverty number I need. . She said ALOT of people make the same mistake. So I thanked her and informed her I will be sleeping tonight without worry ( at least about that issue)

I did not ask what date they are currently processing.. If anyone calls this morning, please ask .. I don't know if they have that info though.

Yaay! Finally got an Interview date. Case Completed last April 24, 2014. Interview date is June 23, 2014. Will do his medical 2 weeks from now.

LoveMyTico!!! We'll get June interviews definitely!!! More time for us to save a little side money to splurge on a special dinner celebration after we pass our interviews!!!!

I stay with my in-laws when I visit since my husband still lives with them.. ( awww)

So I don't have to fork over hotel money... I already told my husband we will be purchasing a bottle of Jose and celebrating. Neither one of us are really drinkers but I will make an exception !!

We talked about restaurants last night on the phone. He said we can goto the Outback and I said "NO WAY" I want Costa Rican food. I can get Outback any old time. I like the little bars on the side of the road.

He can't wait to come back and eat american food. He is tired of rice and beans everyday !! He has been americanized already so he really does miss it. He is dying for a cheesesteak !!

Exactly, printed by them, long form, all good.

Put Case # on each page, copies and originals.

I used small non permanent stickers on mine that

I had printed the case # on

I made a copy of everything.

Express ship (recommended)

Especially this packet full of difficult to replace Docs.

Dont want it laying around to be lost or damaged.

The Cover letter is most important.

Describe in detail each item and how it relates

such as "proof of income"

Paper Clips only.....One large binder to hold it all together

14 days seems to be the magic number of late to review

Sign everything that needs signing

Date everything that needs a date

Dont forget the Bar-coded cover sheet

So I am assuming a new I-864 form needs to be filled out with the correction and sent ASAP. The paralegal that I am working with must have done this wrong but if you do this all the time, shouldn't you know how to fill this out already? Really annoyed! And super upset.
