Just spoke with another NVC lady. I told her the number on the I864 was the same as the number on my 1040 (I don't have my 1040, but how could it be different??). She said I need to send in another copy of my tax transcripts and I864 and highlight so they see it's the same. #######??!!

I asked if maybe they were confused because it's a negative number. She said that could be something so I also need to send in a letter explaining why it's negative. Isn't that their freaking job?

So basically NVC ###### over my case and I need to send in a letter explaining it to them. Because they're so freaking useless they can't figure out on their own.

Sorry again if I had to ask. I just want to know if anyone has been through to the same situation as me and would like to give me some information on how they obtain the COC. Sorry if you are annoyed. But thank you too for the info.

Plus, wouldn't it be faster to just send in a "corrected" I864 instead of wait the month for a supervisor review?

Tell him to ####### off and finish the process yourself! And ask for some money back ( some chance)!

How long on average are the NVC taking these days to review the civil documents and complete the case? Has anyone got a case complete this week that can weigh in? I'm so behind on this thread - work has been a beating this week working on quarterly taxes!

Mine took 15 days from arrival at the dock to accepted. It seems lately to be 10 or 12 days from the time its entered in the system.

Thank you so much for mentioning quarterly reports...with all things immigration, I had totally forgot....

Well I wrote a letter to my senator who was extremely helpful during my arduous time at USCIS. Maybe she'll be able to help?

I still plan on sending in another I864, with 1040, and letters. Because you can't fix stupid.

I am writing an expedite request, rep from NVC told me in subject line to write case # and ATTENTION PI SUPERVISOR. What does it mean PI Supervisor? Any idea?

Or maybe I didn't hear this correct?

Yes, you need to ask them for the invoice identification number as you won't be able to log into CEAC without it. It may not be available yet though if they've just put in your case, so try back tonight or tomorrow.
