F2A for spouses of permanent residents are subject to annual limits. CR1/IR1 for spouses of citizens are not. So retrogression does not apply to our visa type.

TYTYTYTYTYTYTY I was so worried now I can breath. I kept reading through the years that they say to CR-1/IR-1 at the Embassies have to wait for available visa. It was for US citizen cases so was a bit nervous about this. Ty I'll be able to sleep tonight. :)

Ok Maybe I'm just being impatient. But I need to ask anyone who has come across the same thing..

So I got an email for the IV bill invoice. I went online and tried to pay but I wasn't able to because the info and check box for the IV bill didn't show up. Below is the screen shot. Is it because they are still working on making it available for me while the email was automatically sent beforehand? I went with a different browser as well as a different computer but it was still the same thing. What is going on?

Our AOS fee doesn't have the checkbox either. Guessin' we have to wait....

After green card if the beneficiary moves you need to update USCIS with an AR-11 form within 10 days of relocation

Any sponsors (petitioner and any joint sponsors) must update the USCIS with form I-865 within 30 days of relocation.

I haven't bothered to study the post- greencard stage much yet, as I'm so busy with selling my stuff, working, yada yada... does this apply to all new greencard holders? Until we get citizenship?

What about those folks who don't pursue citizenship- you have to notify USCIS every time you move?? If so, wow, what a tight leash!

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

Have just checked CEAC and my 130 file is in transit to the embassy in London!! It will take 2 days for it to arrive. Hubby has submitted the 260. Didn't have to pay the IV fee, yet. So you could say filing the 129 has helped my case to be expedited!!

Here you go! It worked for the best for you guys!

Good luck! you'll pay the fees and submit all the packets at the embassy the day of the interview!

Very happy for you!!!

I got a false check list today-- at least our case was touched :dancing: may be they review our AOS this week.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

Yes that is the correct email address. I've been waiting 3 weeks to receive ENROLL confirmation, I wouldn't suggest anyone ENROLL for Electronic processing, snail mail will be much quicker. But seeings as you have already sent email to ENROLL in Electronic Processing you can NOT mail them anything, everything from here on out will be done by email. Which is slower than snail mail right now.

We r in VJ know that we cant file as Single. ( I guess 10% from overall national immigration cases).

But what about people who filed immigration cases and don't have any idea about their status.

Majority of lawyer suggest to file as single coz that's only way to do electronically and easiest way.

What will happened to those people?

I am so OVER dealing with NVC. Everytime you call you get a different answer. This is just heart wrenching and sickening. How is one supposed to know what to do, if NVC operators don't even know.

Got our case number yesterday! Hooray! The lady named Lexie (super duper nice by the way) didn't give us the IIN yet saying that the file is still not ready and if she give me the IIN, if I use it to log on to CEAC, it may prompt that the case is for termination and that may freak me out so she advised me to call back on Friday to check. :)
