How long you been waiting for new case number? I see that some VJ waited 40 days to get case#. This is ridiculous It shouldn't take so long, especially if they made a mistake. I will let you know.

Hubby took the list of mandatory vaccinations to his family doctor. He needs 3. Thank God I follow VJ, otherwise he would have gotten nailed at his medical and had to pay 3 times the regular price.

So now when he goes for the medical he will be in and out. ( sigh of relief)

Was able to talk to a gentleman from NVC after being on hold for about 15 minutes. AOS has been approved. The civil documents (IV package) has been received (touched). However, they have not reviewed it yet. He said I am done submitting everything. Just sit tight and give them 20 ~ 30 days to review the IV package... No really... :) I am calling them tomorrow...

After reading these forums for months, you'd think I wouldn't have questions lol, but here's one I believe I've seen before:

The AOS on CEAC says pay, yet when clicked, there is not an option to continue to the payment/ no tick box. (The IV section has a tick box but is not invoiced yet).

That ability to pay will happen soon right?

I did send an enroll email, but I haven't receinved confirmation. What email address was I supposed to send it to. I've seen two different ones used.

I called today and they have not review my AOS package, they keep saying to wait 30 days, I am calling tomorrow that is my first call in the morning

Fyi people:

You do NOT need to update your addresses with the NVC. Unless you need to change the country or consulate, simply write the newest address for the USC on the I-864 and for the immigrants on the DS-260.

Also if you have to change case numbers because you're routed to the wrong embassy or consulate (yes there is a difference between the two) then do not do anything, do not pay bils or send packages, until the the new number is assigned. Remember you should be writing your case number on your civil documents and aos doxuments. You do not want these lost if your case number changes.

Also, if we move after receving my green card, I (as the lpr) have to notify USCIS of my change of address, right? And the USC will only have to update the new address with the DMV and SSA?

Household member has to be a US citizen

or Legal Permanent Resident over age 18 domiciled in the US.

For U.S. Citizens or Nationals, a copy of your

Birth Certificate, Passport, or Certificate of

Naturalization or Citizenship.

For Lawful Permanent Residents, a copy of both

sides of your I-551, Permanent Resident Card.

MY DS260 is available YAY ! ! ! ! I just want to go home now and call my husband to complete it and submit. I CAN'T CONCENTRATE AT WORK TODAY !!!!

NVC said I do NOT need my divorce decrees in the IV package. I forwarded the message to the lawyers office since they are too busy to answer my call. Why is it that I know more than they do and it is their profession????? We should all work for immigration lawyers.

Funny you should say this, LoveMyTico...my attorney told me I should be working at her office! I had to correct her on the Total Income vs. Adjusted Gross Income today. She was shocked and horrified at her mistake, but incredibly gracious when she told me I was correct. I told her that VisaJourney had been MY teacher. I believe our AOS and IV packets are being sent today, and the DS-260 will be complete as soon as she hits "enter". Wow. What a journey!

Ok Maybe I'm just being impatient. But I need to ask anyone who has come across the same thing..

So I got an email for the IV bill invoice. I went online and tried to pay but I wasn't able to because the info and check box for the IV bill didn't show up. Below is the screen shot. Is it because they are still working on making it available for me while the email was automatically sent beforehand? I went with a different browser as well as a different computer but it was still the same thing. What is going on?
