An Update

Hello all,

I thought I'd drop in with an update of our progress. The day is almost upon us!!!

Natasha is leaving early Thursday AM from Ekaterinburg to Moscow to have her medical at MEDITCINA on Friday, then she will have her interview the following Wednesday on January 17th. We have triple checked all documents, police reports, financial forms and gone over the 'practice questions' that others have so kindly posted here on the forums... so at this point, all we can do is wait and hope for the best... We both feel very confident about it all, and have bought her airline ticket for February 13th in anticipation of a successful interview!!

Thanks to everyone for posting your wisdom and insight, it has helped us tremendously!!!

Oh, and my new tip: Get a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination record) from Meditcina during her medical check. They'll have to put her original in the sealed envelope, but make sure she gets a copy to bring with her to the States. It'll help a lot during the AOS process. Trust me!

In regards to that DS-3025. Our medical clearance was done couple of weeks ago, and the interview is on wednesday. At the time of the medical, she did not get the copy of DS 3025, can she get it after she got the sealed envelope to take to the embassy. For example come to the medical clinic after the intervew and request a copy?

I think it's possible for her to get one at the embassy during/shortly after the interview. If she requests one from the C/O, they should be able to make a copy for her there. Or, she can go back to the clinic too. Both ways have been done by VJ members. Neither way was done by my wife. That's why we're scrambling for something now.....

What a BBusting day 10:00 app to get MMR lasted 1.5 hours. (but that to the ref from the GP only $20)

the off to the civil doc who was insisting they had to do a complete exam. Finally agreed to do the I-693a.

2 hours and $40 later we were on our way.

As I wrote somewhere get your GP to test for your immunitys and don't pay for the full examin again!

Maria has been in Moscow since 1/11/07 She has her interview on 1/16/07 She just had her med exam today and will get papers on Monday. I just spoke with her and she is doing well in Moscow. She is from Ekaterinburg which is the 3rd largest City but still Moscow is a strange city. Maria and I speak by SMS and cell calls many times during the days:))) Why worry? If the interview asks about us then she will speak about us. We are in love! end of story and we have much evidence to show. I pray for the best to all Moscow interviews and hope for a quick reunion for us all!
