Has anyone gotten their NOA2 before the estimated time here? TSC

Hi everyone,

I was curious if anyone here has ever gotten their NOA2 before the estimated time indicated on their timeline here on visajourney?

I understand the timeline estimates are based on data being kept up to date by VJ members here on the site.

My NOA2 estimate bumped up by 2 months later (TSC) than the original estimate, just curious if anyone has gotten it earlier.

Yes, there are definitely some on VJ. Some for various reasons (expedition). But I've learned not to follow the VJ prediction as it is really unreliable. You can actually do a search for people who have updated their VJ timeline around the time that you submitted your app and see where they are along the process - perhaps then you can find the people who got their noa2s way early

I think it would be a very rare case for someone (non-Philippines/expedite) to receive their NOA2 before the dates estimated by VJ. The expedites are bring the VJ estimate down to an unrealistic estimate for the "normal" (TSC) filer.

VJ stats are estimates. The NOA2 may come before or after the estimated date. As you have noticed, the estimates may also change over time as NOA2 approvals for members slow down or speed up.

I filed in early March 2012 - my original VJ estimate was for the NOA2 to come in early July. Then the big slowdown happened at VSC, which made my estimated NOA2 date go to the end of September. The actual NOA2 came on August 30, so as you can see, it is an estimate, that's all.
