Appointments become available at any given time. By the time someone post it here the time slot can be nabbed by someone else. Just have patience and keep checking. There is no magic way of getting an appointment, just use do diligence.

Just have to be patient, hopefully the embassy will open up June soon. I would keep checking as sometimes appoints do get cancelled and you can grab that opening.

did u try calling the US embassy? i think that's the best way to get an appointment.. thats what we did. and i did let my fiancee call them.

Calling is not going to help, they look at the same calendar as you see online. Big plus to scheduling online vs calling is that IF someone cancels an interview that opening will show up online and can be grabbed, only way that could happen with calling is for the opening to show up while you are on the phone with the embassy.

Scheduling online is much better.

I checked earlier today, and the next available appointment was "March 27th, 2014". AKA TOMORROW. I'm sure that's gone by now, but it was there, and I was shocked.

There was 20 appointments available for April 4th this morning and also this evening I checked it had not changed, but that is too soon for us. My fiance is still waiting on birth certificate, cenomar, which she paid for already a couple of weeks ago waiting for it to be delivered. Also not enough time for me to send package with evidence. I'm hoping a date in May opens or mid-late April.

I'm sure it is for other types of visa appointments besides K1.

This is the website were you schedule your interview as a last step. You have to pay the application fee before you can schedule.

For the most part - yes, these are for K-1 only as these are appointments for the IV unit at the embassy, they only process immigrant visas and the K-1, all the immigrant visa appointments are scheduled by NVC for the applicant (except if you are a victim of Yolanda)
