"Auto-expedite" applying abroad

Hello,

I was wondering if filling abroad is still a faster process than filling from the US. I heard that these days, filling abroad does not process more quickly anymore. Is this true? I'm deciding where I will file based on this.

As far as establishing domicile. I have this:

  • A checking account in the US (can I print a page from my online banking account or does it have to be a letter from them?)
  • I'm registered to vote (how do I show this? do I just say that I'm registered and they'll look it up to see that it's true?)
  • I have a valid drivers license (but the address on it is not the US address I will put, not even the same state, does that make it not ok to use as proof?)
  • How can I show that I am searching for employment in the US?
  • Could I also show email conversations inquiring about housing/apartments ads that I found Craigslist?

I hope someone can help me to figure this stuff out. Thanks.

There is no more DCF (filing abroad) from Brazil, so you must file in the US with the appropriate lockbox facility; expect it to take around a year for the approval.

I wasn't asking about DCF. I would send the documents to the US from Brazil. But I saw a thread that said that in countries where there is no DCF, applying from abroad makes it faster than applying within the US.

Hi I'm reposting because there was a misunderstanding that I was asking about DCF and then no one replied because of that.

All I want to know is if there is still the possibility that the visa process becomes faster because the petitioner applies from outside the US. I'm not asking about DCF, I know Brazil doesn't have it. But there was a thread about getting an "auto-expedite" from applying from abroad, and I want to know if this is still possible.

My husband and I filed from abroad, both living in Ireland, We filed in November, so I'm not sure that there is any auto-expedite as we haven't heard anything since. Also, DCF wasn't an option for us either.

Auto expedite no more. haven't seen anyone get it over a year.have

Heard that too many people abused it lied. Considering you don't have to prove you are living abroad. So people just said they were and got pushed through. Sorry

I think it very much depends on WHERE the I-130 petition goes. It looks like CSC still may auto expedite but the other service centers do not.
