New USCIS Processing Times are off Their Meds

5 months for Texas and Nebraska? Really USCIS????!!!! That sounds great but now they're going to be flooded with service requests, which is going to slow everything down. What nonsense, this new crock of lies is going to be just as destructive as their forever-stuck-in-October-2012 nonsense. USCIS you never fail to disappoint me.

That means that everyone in the November thread who's at one of those two can now file a service request, and not a single on of us (not counting flukes from 4 months ago and expedites) have been approved. Nonsense!!!!!

Do it now. They're going to get flooded anyways, best to be first in line. The only reason I am not is because Vermont is the 1 service center that's not listing 5 months.

They should have been honest and moved it to June 30th. That would have allowed the service requests to mop up the stragglers behind June. Now with July, August, September, and November (!) filers putting in service requests they are going to get flooded. USCIS you bloody morons, what the hell is wrong with you.

I noticed that too. Their dates don't match up. On the case-tracking part of the site, it says 5 months, but on the processing times, it says Nov 21st. Which is it? :S

5 months is still absurd, only 3 people in our October batch have acceptances and now they can almost all put in service requests. That's just crazy!

According to https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?sroPageType=onpt, you should wait an additional 30 days from the normal processing time before filing a service request. So it's more like you must wait for 6 months before filling a service request (5 months + 30 days = 6 months). In addition, if you have received the transfer email in the last 60 days, it means you shouldn't file a service request (for another 60 days).

I'm an Oct filer, but I received the transfer email a week ago so I don't think I can file a service request.

Oh I'm rocking the boat and I lodged our first service request earlier this evening. My patience has now completely expired. If the USCIS wants to set their processing timetable in a foolish manner and I can capitalize on it, then so be it.

I know that I'm very, very fortunate that I'm now with my husband in the US but please don't hate on me for that. I know that many are going through serious emotional distress being separated...I lived it...so I know many of you deserve to get answers and approvals fast!

But it still does not justify them sitting on our I-130 for 6 months since being transferred!

Our NOA1 issued on July 2, 2013. Our petition has been transferred and sitting at NSC since Sept 2013...and some people who filed before me are still not approved??? Those transferred to NSC after me and with NOA's after me are getting approved???

Complete, utter, freaking rubbish!!!

Sorry folks, but I'm mad enough for all of us at this moment.

CSC seems to be the only remotely accurate processing time. And it seems like they're not getting I-130s anymore anyway (go figure).

NSC and TSC are moving way too slow to even think of givig those processing times. Your right thedude, they're going to move even slower now with even MORE service requests! Ridiculous.

Edit: VSC is even further ahead than CSC?! I nearly fell off the couch from laughter!

I filed in SEPTEMBER and I'm already approved (from CSC). It doesn't help that these numbers are already nearly 60 days old anyway. :/

If you're outside of the posted times the Tier 2 drones will file a request for you.

uh - for an I-130 standalone petition,

if'n it got transferred to the Texas Service Center

from November 2013 to March 2014

then that's 60 days or less after the transfer date for the approval date , counting from the transfer notice date, forward.

I'm Feb filler 2013 we did 2 Sr and nothing changed and we did Infopass and still nothing happened .The only answer they know know is wait .Wi chi found weird is Myw ife talked to Tier2 she told My wife Maybe your Husband 's country still doing background check and uscis did not get The Answer yet .I answer to My Wife Its Ridiculous and absurd .everytime they came with New excuse

Are they including the expedited requests from the Philippines in the average? Considering the high volume and fast processing time of these, they this could easily skew the average from 9 to 5.
