The website shows you a snapshot in time. At the exact second that your inquiry came through, there were no appointments. 30 seconds later, one might have opened up. It's TRULY luck of the draw. You should check back often, you might just get lucky.

you just have to keep checking everyday...I had it scheduled on May 28 but i got it moved all the way to march 18. The dates on that site change a lot, their must be a lot of people rescheduling their appointments.

2014/1/31 USCIS received petition
2014/2/12 I129f approved
2014/2/15 NOA2 hard copy recieved in mail
2014/02/21 MNL case # received, administrative processing
2014/02/25 in transit to US Embassy Manila
2014/02/26 Paid Visa fee and scheduled Interview

2014/03/11 Medical Evaluation
2014/03/18 Interview date *APPROVED*

I didnt think it would be this quick. We just gotta wait for the VISA to be mailed to her house and then the CFO seminar.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Yup.

Happened to me and my fiance as well.

We took the first open date (May 5), so that we had one. Then about 3 days later, at 1:30 am eastern US time, I saw a date for march 12 and I jumped on it.

So we got that date, and my fiance had her interview and passed.

So, just keep looking.... all the time! Hahaha

- November 9th, 2013 : Sent I-129f package (FedEx)


- November 15th, 2013: Check was Cashed


- November 15th, 2013: NOA1 e-mail notification (TSC) smile.png


- November 21st, 2013: NOA1 Hard Copy arrived. (Official Notification Date - Nov 14th)


- November 21st, 2013: Alien Registration Number Changed


- February 7th, 2014: NOA2 received by text & email!! (85 days from NOA1 to NOA2) dancin5hr.gif heart.gif

- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!

From May 8th, I rescheduled to May 6, and now March 26. Just keep checking! Slots open up every now and then

Thats what i was doing, I must have had at least 4 other dates.

You are IR/CR-1 for that visa NVC normally schedules the interview, BUT if you are being expedited because of Yolanda then you can schedule your own interview either by calling the embassy or going online.

You can go to this website and schedule it yourself, http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/index.html?firstTime=No.....You also need your MNL #...

Most times the IR/CR-1 do not schedule their own interview, it is done by NVC.

Thats what i was doing, I must have had at least 4 other dates.

Fo K-1, be careful because you can only reschedule twice without a penalty. After that, you have to pay the visa fee again and have to wait 6 months to schedule (that second part really sucks)
