Did they said what you did wrong with the first one? I am confused too which form my husband needs to fill up as a joint sponsor for my mom since I don't work and doesn't have an income. Is it I864 or I864a?

That's many times the issue, the "waiting game" and the completeness of your paperwork. As careful as you are with the correct information and the correct documents something seems to go wrong.

Though I am confident that I can do my own paperwork, the instructions from the government agencies can cause confusion. Therefore, I have hired someone that has been doing this for years and his prices were reasonable that it made sense for me to use him. After all, we are all paying large amounts of fees to get this process complete. For me we have had little or no problems. At best, our problems have been with the Filipino Government and the archaic computer systems or lack there of.

I was lucky to have found a beautiful Filipino who told me from the beginning that the process will require patience that you have never tapped into. She was right!!! I have learned to have patience for this process. When one process is accomplished there is always another process behind it.

Good luck and Gods speed.
