Hope you all have a good one.

I guess I'm confused when you say you are off today if you're measuring 3 houses. Does that just mean you don't have to be in the office, but still have to do some work?

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

It's a rainy Friday here and unseasonably warm. If it doesn't stop all this darn rain, I'll have to shave the moss off of myself. It's almost the weekend!

(Going to start looking at the AOS stuff tomorrow... can you say "EW!"?)

I'd love to be in your shoes Jean. Hand 'em over..the AOS papers, not the husband. I have a man of my own! :P

Good morning!

Last night I saw Pedro Almadovar's newest film "Volver". I loved it. I love him- e is oneof my favorite directors of all time. The women in his films (and this one was no exception) are vibrant, quirky, real- from the stars to the extras . Penelope Cruz stars in this one and she was wonderful.

Unlike like all the normal people, I have to work 7 days this week and last week too. Was supposed to get new windows installed today, but the rain started early in the morning - no windows...

Hope, it'll get better next week.

Oh, yeah! Got a new kitten - about 4 weeks old, like I needed more  .

Had to get a bottle and cat milk - he can eat canned food and dry food, but he's missing his mommy. My pateint's neighboor son got it somewhere and the neighboor didn't want to keep the kitten. So, I figured, what's one more kitten?

Now my cats are going crazy and still can't accept the tiny baby, who kind of looks like a cute little white mouse - have to take some pictures!

Happy Friday or what's left of it!

Met online - May 2004

Firelion, how many cats do you have???

I'm tired of not having a working furnace. It's currently 60 degrees in my apartment and the long letter i just typed took longer than normal as my fingers are so cold that they keep hitting the wrong keys. :P

Thank God that i am finally getting my heater fixed tomorrow insha'Allah. i can't wait!!! :D

looking forward to hearing from Doodle and wondering how long til she's done with jetlag and back to posting. Come on Doodle, we're all dying to hear! :D
