So as i've posted before, my fiance just started a new job in which he makes more than the poverty guideline (He was a student before(2012)and stayed with me for 3 months (2013) so he did not make enough on his w2 and tax returns for the last year and 2012). His boss signed the employment letter stating his average income (with overtime, he works 50 hours a week) and that he will be getting raises within the next months, however, the company does not have a letter head or a logo , is this fine? Will it still be accepted by the consulate?

Here is what's stated in the employment letter:

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to verify that ___ is currently a full time permanent employee with_____as an IT Technician. He began employment with _______ on 1/14/2014 and his current annual salary is averaging around $23,760 with overtime (50 Hours a week = $495 x 4 = $1,980 x 12 = $23,760). His hourly wage is currently $9.00 per hour and will receive raises within the upcoming months. He’s able to come in and work as much overtime as wanted.

If you need any additional information, please feel free to call ______

Did the employer put the company name and/or is title in the signature?

*** ah you just added another post. Company name is within the letter. Do you have a co-sponsor? (just in case)

what is your basis for this? are there any other options given that the company DOES NOT HAVE a letterhead or a logo?

Anyone on the planet could type up a letter on blank paper. Of course anyone on the planet could also make up a bogus letterhead in 5 or 10 minutes on line and create a letter on that. Perhapos your spouses employer could just make up a letterhead. It's really easy. Ay least it shows some form of professionalism, I hope. They don't need a logo. Just go on line there are tons of free backgrounds for all kinds of purposes.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ofcourse we will substantiate the employment letter with his paystubs to show that it's legit. :))

Company name, adress, and contact number is provided in the letter also.

It should be fine, plus like said you will have pay stubs which also show the company name, I really don't see an issue. Just the same the embassy may have issues with your most recent tax return not showing adequate income, it might not be a bad idea to write a letter to explain that you were still in college and such as to why the low income. And for sure have the co-sponsor documents.

We will provide letters for the following :

1. Reason.as to why he didn't earn enough for the past year (proof of being a student, of being with me for 3 months.etc)

2. Letter that we will be living rent-free with the signature of the apartment owner(his grandpa)

3. Letter of my educational background showing I have a high chance of employment in the us (plus transcripts and diploma)
