I-130 Processing Time. (Recently transferred to Texas Service Center)

Hi guys!!

I-130 for my relative was filed in August and the receipt date is 29 Aug 2013. We didnt hear from USCIS for a long time. Recently on 20th Feb, I received a mail from them containg I-797 in which they notified that the case was transferred to Texas Service Center. They even mentioned that if we didn't hear from them about a decision in 60 days, we should call them. I checked the processing times for my particular case type and realized that the last case processed date has not changed since Dec 2013. The case is still in initial review part. I want to know if I should expect to receive a decision in the next two months or not.

taha_zia_keen, As you can see, after we got transferred to TSC, it took more or less a month for NOA2.

I would say, wait at least a month, if it has been transferred, it means they are doing something.

I received the same transfer letter back on December 5th 2013 with the 60 day notice. I filed in April 2013. I received my approval 62 days after the transfer date. I was transferred to Nebraska

Latest update is that the application has been approved and a notice has been mailed. Haven't received the notice yet but really happy to know that a decision has been made and that also in our favor.

I received a mail yesterday notifying me that the application has been sent to the Department of State. What will happen now and how long is it before we get called for the interview?

It has been one and a half month approximately since we received the notice of approval from uscis which stated that the case was sent to NVC. We still have not heard from NVC yet. How long will it take NVC to get the case and process it so that we can move to the US?

Also I was wondering if we could move to US while the case is being processed and then complete the processing there in the US?

P.S. My mother is the applicant and my dad is the petitioner. Me, my dad and my sister all are US citizens.

No, you can't move to the US while you wait, well, at least your Mom can't. The visa is what you are waiting for and that is what allows her to enter the country.
