Holy cow, people! Our waiver was approved this morning! If you're going to ask, we filed on 7/29/13, received RFE notice on 1/21/14, didn't actually receive the RFE until 2/22/14. Case went into RFE Response on 2/28/14, address change notification on 3/5/14.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm excited for you!

I'm not familiar with the process when it comes to waivers... so what happens next for you?

Thanks! I have no idea... except I have a vague idea. I emailed Casablanca and they said we had to wait until they received the official email from USCIS and not our email. So we wait.

The RFE was for the refusal notice, which they didn't provide him at the time of interview. However, when we emailed Casablanca, they emailed it back within a few hours. So it was an EASY RFE. The address change notification was an e-update from the USCIS website stating that on 3/5/14, they changed the address on the case. However, most people have noticed that this precedes an approval. We actually received two of these notifications (but the first one was a real address change).

Not stupid. Casablanca is where the Consulate in Morocco is located.

CEAC now has us in Administrative Processing, which is a change from Refused (and even that has only been that way for about 3 weeks). I think this could be a couple things - they are either working on issuing the visa and will call him in for medical and to leave his passport, or they are running more background checks (but I couldn't imagine why), or they are going to schedule an interview... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
