Hi, My fiance and I are now starting to gather our documents to file for a Fiance Visa,

My concern is that I am confused about filing the I-134 form.

Do we need to Include the form during filing of I-129F?

Hope anyone can help us explain. Thank you so much!

No, you don't need to include the I-134 form for an initial petition (I-129F). You will needed it for your K-1 visa processing at the US embassy.

---> 1. Thank you so much for the quick reply...but I have follow-up question about the I-129F, if the I-134 not needed what

are the supporting documents needed for the I-129F that will show the Fiance (Sponsor) can

support me (financially)?

2. You mean " K-1 visa processing at the US embassy" ? -Is this during my interview?

Thanks again!

1. Nothing is needed to prove financial support for the I-129F. Financial support will be proven once your fiance can apply for the K-1 visa, which is when the I-134 is needed.

2. Yes, the interview is part of the K-1 visa processing.

I have a follow-up question and Just for clarification;

Just a background of this question:

I am from the Philippines.

I am confused this before because I heard that this form is should be prepared by the Sponsor (US Citizen)

and attach to the form I-129F together with the other documents as proof of relationship.

My questions are the following:

The form I-134 is only needed during the beneficiary (fiancee) application,

particularly during "Interview Time" by the US Embassy Consulate?

What are the documents needed to be attached on I-134 form?

Is he needed to get a letter from the bank for his account?

Is he needed to get a letter from his employer?

Is it necessary to go the lawyer and notarized the letters or He just need to sign it?

What are the other documents needed if there's any?

I really appreciated for you replies....God Bless everyone.

No, I-134 is not attach or included to I-129F package. For K-1 visa process (after I-129F approval), one of several documents that you should provided is I-134 form along with supporting documents. For my experience, the US embassy only took I-134 (original and signed by my fiance), ITR 2012, and W-2. My fiance was also provided me bank account statements, stock and bonds papers, insurance policies, and paycheck paper but they never asked it. As long as your fiance (the petitioner) meet a requirement of the poverty guidelines I think you are just fine. Anyhow, better to ask the moderator moved your thread to regional discussion to get much better answers. Good luck!
